Thumbs up
Le woot, Road trip! (maybe)
Now to try and recruit some other Escapists from VIC + SA who would want to go up via automotive vehicle...
I'll put a note in the OP with a link to your profile so people can contact you about it.

There an age limit on those attending?

Veeeeery interested in this.
Well, I'm 16 and organising it. I'm not going to claim responsibility for anyone's safety though, and I suspect that the Paintball [http://i149.photobucket.com/albums/s46/Labyrinth_11/kitty.jpg] (If we do that, come on guys, start throwing ideas at me here!) people will quirk a brow if anyone who looks 12 or so turns up. Laser tag is a more general age thing.

Its good to know that our event in the UK is inspiring more of you to meet up. You should totally do what we did and do it over a weekend. A con-length meet up.

Either way I hope you guys have a blast.

I saw the photos from the UK one and reckon it would be awesome to go too.

But I will only be 15 then, and the chances of my parents letting me go from Adelaide to Sydney to hang out with people from the internet are fairly slim........

.......It would be hilarious to ask them though hahaha.

I would love to come, but there may be one little snag.

December 5 is my birthday. My 17th, no less.

So yeah. My cousin's 21st was on last Escapism and I still made it, so it may in fact be fine. However, there is still a big chance that I might not be able to make it for Round 3.

But bear in mind that, if I can, I will definitely arrive.

Bring cake! Or, alternately, have your birthday party at the venue..

I'd love to go but my parents won't react favourably to their son's request to go all the way to sydney to hang out with a bunch of randoms he met on the internet.

If we have a Brisbane escapism next year I'll probably go, I'll be on my P plates then so I could go without telling my parents.

I'll see what I can do. But nothing's planned at the moment.

December 5th?
I'll say yes for now. Shouldn't be too hard to make it there.

I haven't been posting much in ages so I need to support theescapist somehow.

Yeah, my parents are saying no at the moment, but I have 4 months to convince them.

Put me down as a maybe.

I feel like pretending I have the means of arriving in Sydney in early December to attend this event...

So put me down as a maybe! (though I feel Shrodingers cat is perhaps a poor metaphor in my case. I'm less of a "He might be here he might not." and more of a "Its impossible to predict if he's coming here". Maybe Heisenberg Khedive Rex.)
