The smoke cleared, and Samantha glanced around, terrified. He's gone! He's vanished! Oh god, THEY GOT HIM! Sam looked for her assailant, and saw that he was no-where to be found. Blast! He must have escaped, taking Sky with him! Samantha made to go after him, and it was at that point she realized she was invisible.
Samantha let out a terrified little yelp. What devil-magic was this? And why was there suddenly another her running around? Oh, of course; it all made sense now. This was one of Thomas's tricks. He'd made her disappear, then transformed into her in an attempt to get closer to Sky so he could assassinate him! Why, that bastard's skulduggery knew no bounds!
Spinning on her heel, Samantha flipped off the ground and flew towards her doppelganger. Her new friend arrived and started saying things, but she would have to wait; this was a matter of life and death, and the slightest hesitation could mean losing Sky forever. She primed a foot at the small of its' back, but at the point of impact she passed harmlessly through, passing sleekly through an open window and landing in the field outside the cafeteria.
"Oww..." Samantha muttered. On the bright side, she was visible again; on a less positive note, she appeared to have twisted her ankle. Oh, this was no good; how would she defend her poor helpless boyfriend from that satanic drug-abuser when she couldn't even walk? Samantha would have to cross that bridge when she got there; now it seemed like her primary target would be to make her way back to the cafeteria. As luck would have it, Samantha happened to spot someone who seemed to be on his way there; he was a friend of Sky's, as she recalled, so hopefully he'd be happy to aid her in her cause.
"Um... excuse me..." Samantha called over to Adam, raising herself into a kneeling position. "Could you help me up, please? I think I'm hurt..."
