I've done the calculations, the group bookings are absurdly expensive. And overall the single admissions are more expenive, $28 per person, apposed to about $21. The fact that it's relatively easy to get to, AND all in one place, makes it more appealing however.Caimekaze said:http://www.m9.com.au/darling_harbour/index.htmlCahlee said:Please link me!

If it's combined bowling/Laser tag, what's the cost for the same thing as the other? Namely, 1 game of bowling, 2 rounds of Laser tag?Cahlee said:I've done the calculations, the group bookings are absurdly expensive. I will, yet again, leave it to our Escapist brethren to decide!
-cringes- $43.90 per person, that's without calling and seeing if I can get a discount. But it does mean we spend less on travel, that has to be taken into consideration.Labyrinth said:If it's combined bowling/Laser tag, what's the cost for the same thing as the other? $38 for adults, which unfortunately is 16 and up.Labyrinth said:If it's combined bowling/Laser tag, what's the cost for the same thing as the other? Namely, 1 game of bowling, 2 rounds of Laser tag?
Something must be wrong there, because every time I've been it hasn't been that expensive.Cahlee said:-cringes- $43.90 per person, that's without calling and seeing if I can get a discount. But it does mean we spend less on travel, that has to be taken into consideration.
Very true. Once again, I can foot that. It's not my call however.Cahlee said:-cringes- $43.90 per person, that's without calling and seeing if I can get a discount. I didn't see any packages involving that...? Link me... again..Caimekaze said:$38 for adults, which unfortunately is 16 and up.Labyrinth said:If it's combined bowling/Laser tag, what's the cost for the same thing as the other? Namely, 1 game of bowling, 2 rounds of Laser tag?
Actually, it's $37.90. This is assuming we're doing this before 4pm.
Also, I think you can get three games for $25, which means the third is effectively a dollar. I'm not entirely sure though.
It's not a package they mention, it's just something they do when you're in groups. Although I guess it's up to the person manning the counter at the time.Cahlee said:I didn't see any packages involving that...? Link me... again..
All the group events packages are too expensive..Caimekaze said:$38 for adults, which unfortunately is 16 and up.Labyrinth said:If it's combined bowling/Laser tag, what's the cost for the same thing as the other? Namely, 1 game of bowling, 2 rounds of Laser tag?

In regards to that, I'd have to call them and find out. But as it's listed, that's the price. Hopefully you're right!Caimekaze said:It's not a package they mention, it's just something they do when you're in groups. And don't forget, laser tag is much cheaper before 4pm, which we may end up doing anyway.Cahlee said:In regards to that, I'd have to call them and find out. But as it's listed, that's the price. Hopefully you're right!
How daft of me! You are correct. $37.90 combined total before 4pm, making it 90c more expensive then the alternative, but greatly worth it considering the travelling is easier, and Darling Harbour is great. I think we have a winner!Caimekaze said:And don't forget, laser tag is much cheaper before 4pm, which we may end up doing anyway.Cahlee said:In regards to that, I'd have to call them and find out. Thank you, thank you. I'm here for about five more minutes, then I must sleep.Cahlee said:How daft of me! Shoes have to be enclosed too! No open toes or anything.Labyrinth said:Okay, I'm not sure if we'll make it to doing a fantasy LARP, but we sure as hell could put one into the Laser Tag.
Now for the dress code. The more ridiculous and character-based, the better. If you don't want to, that's your call. I recommend Gothing it up a little at least if you're not prepared to do anything else. Eyeliner and black clothes. Don't forget to bring shoes for the lasertag, they won't let heels and the like in.
I'm either pleased that I'm not alone, or saddened that I'm not alone.galletea said:It is a party. And I'll join in the fun as soon as I can afford the flight. So the darker side of never probably, at this rate.
