Hey, sorry for bumping the thread but this get together should theoretically now be quite easy to fund if this stimulus package gets through. I suggest that most people going would be eligible for the $950 cash handout so perhaps monetary concerns won't be such an issue as previously thought...

Also I thought it was only pensioners, carers and families who get the stimulus bonus thingy.

Yeah, but doesn't it require the student to have a job earning $80000 a year or less?

I don't have a job (yet), but I may not be eligible for the package if I'm right.

Agreed.

Although I've seen the American Escapism thread......Doesn't look promising for the Continental Europeans, the Americans, or the Canadians so far.......It's a real shame.

Yes, I know the hypocrisy of me just sitting around complaining, but I like to complain every now and again.

Ugh. I'll bug Labyrinth on MSN to see if there's a place for an Ultravisit before you guys head off to such events. As much as i feel like a grinch saying it, things like that do not amuse me. Not in the slightest.

So i'll see if i can ambush you and meet everyone, but beyond that i think i'll save face, as it were.
