It's BLOODY COLD that's what it's like. Even up here and I live significantly closer to the equator than sydney. It was 6 degrees this morning! If you're ever going to sydney better pack a lot (and i mean a LOT) of warm clothing!Shoggoth2588 said:It's times like these I regret being an American Escapist...without a passport...or enough money needed to get one (not to mention the cost of air-travel in general)
I would if I could. Maybe in future? 2012 or, 2013...I dunno...what's July like on that side of the planet anyway?
Alrighty I've put the reminder in my phone so only the unforeseen will stop me from coming. Also just wondering where we may be drinking afterwards?Labyrinth said:Think you'll be able to give a definite before the day? You could totally go by Countrylink, you know.Dommyboy said:How are people getting there generally anyway?
If anybody travels through Albury-Wodonga, I would appreciate a lift.

Getting there mostly. It's still a school day (even thought it is the last for the term) but perhaps next year I will be available.Labyrinth said:But whyyyyyy?MercurySteam said:I do actually live in Sydney but I will probably have to decline once again. You have school on Saturdays? I specifically picked a day that was after the School term had finished.MercurySteam said:Getting there mostly. It's still a school day (even thought it is the last for the term) but perhaps next year I will be available.
Oh, I thought it was on the 1st. The first weekend of the holidays usually involves socal stuff with my friends. I won't really be able to tell until closer to the date.Labyrinth said:You have school on Saturdays? Hahahahahahaha.
At the end of last year I went with my partner to Melbourne on the Countrylink XPT. NEVER AGAIN. The seats are beyond awful to spend an extended amount of time on. They're basically padding over planks. It's a means of last resort transport.Dommyboy said:Hah?
