It's times like these I regret being an American Escapist...without a passport...or enough money needed to get one (not to mention the cost of air-travel in general)

I would if I could. Maybe in future? 2012 or, 2013...I dunno...what's July like on that side of the planet anyway?

Would love to but I live in tropical north queensland and am currently in hiding until the state of origin is over so the canetoads won't come throw bricks at my house for being a new south welshwoman in foreign territory.

GO THE BLUES!!!

It's BLOODY COLD that's what it's like. Even up here and I live significantly closer to the equator than sydney. It was 6 degrees this morning! If you're ever going to sydney better pack a lot (and i mean a LOT) of warm clothing!

After finding it on google maps I'll probably be able to make it.
Think you'll be able to give a definite before the day? I do need to book us seats is the issue.
Alrighty I've put the reminder in my phone so only the unforeseen will stop me from coming. Also just wondering where we may be drinking afterwards?

How are people getting there generally anyway?
If anybody travels through Albury-Wodonga, I would appreciate a lift.

Scheduled again when I'm not in Sydney. Which is ironically where I live.

Oh well, all you homies in Adelaide better come watch me swim instead.

I do actually live in Sydney but I will probably have to decline once again. One of these years I'll probably make an appearance.

I dunno if I've been here long enough to come along.
If you're posting, you've been here long enough.

Getting there mostly. It's still a school day (even thought it is the last for the term) but perhaps next year I will be available.

You have school on Saturdays? I specifically picked a day that was after the School term had finished.

Oh, I thought it was on the 1st. The first weekend of the holidays usually involves socal stuff with my friends. I won't really be able to tell until closer to the date.

At the end of last year I went with my partner to Melbourne on the Countrylink XPT. NEVER AGAIN. The seats are beyond awful to spend an extended amount of time on. They're basically padding over planks. It's a means of last resort transport.
