I know one or two coming from Bristol, I'll send them your way when I remember who they are!Revelo said:I am wondering if there is any other Escapists besides me going from Bristol or will pass through the area on their way towards London? I will probably end up wearing my Trenchcoat and either my Punisher or Trivium T-Shirt so I will stick out a mile. =P
Either that, or is anyone else going to get picked up along my route? The general stations along the Bristol Parkway to Paddington route are Reading, Swindon and Didcot.
That said I know the route well, done Bristol to Huntingdon before so I can easily make it to Kings Cross.
I be called Chris by the way =P
Revelo said:Ah thanks James =D Will make the trip much easier with a couple of others to get to know, and I shall oblige with the Trivium shirt then =D Looking to grab an Iron Maiden one somewhere along the line too.Ago Iterum said:I know one or two coming from Bristol, I'll send them your way when I remember who they are!Revelo said:I am wondering if there is any other Escapists besides me going from Bristol or will pass through the area on their way towards London? And wear your Trivium T-shirt. I saw them live, supporting Iron Maiden![]()
I can (actually, can I) meet up with you at Paddington. Not sure I'll remember the right tube route to Kings Cross.Revelo said:I am wondering if there is any other Escapists besides me going from Bristol or will pass through the area on their way towards London? One idea I did have was to attempt the Circle line pub crawl, but considering the feat of endurance that would have to be I would expect that's a no-go idea for now.

Mate, I'm coming from Bristol.Revelo said:I am wondering if there is any other Escapists besides me going from Bristol or will pass through the area on their way towards London? I will probably end up wearing my Trenchcoat and either my Punisher or Trivium T-Shirt so I will stick out a mile. =P

Cool. Last time I went on a train alone I got off at the wrong stop *headdesk*Revelo said:Meeting you at Paddington is fine mate, I know the underground route form there to Kings Cross anyway, just go along the Circle line eastbound.Geek@Heart said:I can (actually, can I) meet up with you at Paddington. Not on the same route though, sadly. I'm further north.
oooh, we could go on the London eye? i like that idea =DRevelo said:I just have the Trivium one, so you still win =P Camdem should have something though. <aybe we could all do the London eye?Ago Iterum said:I have over 9,000 of them.
Okay, at least 100.
Alright, 3...
Ok that's ace. I was originally planning on coming from Bath but as Bristol is equally as convenient and there's more people going from there, I might as well too!Revelo said:We need to meet at Parkway or Templemeads then, obviously. I've traveled along the train to parkway so i know the route off by heart, and subsequently from Paddington to Kings Cross.Nivag said:Mate, I'm coming from Bristol.
Yeah eventually. I had to walk through Worcester to find the other station, missed my connection and waited an hour for the next one. At the station.Revelo said:Trains are scary, annoying pains in the ass. Hope you managed to find your way eventually.Geek@Heart said:Cool. I'm Jenny by the way.
Oh and nice to meet you Jenny =)
Yeah I'm extremely dependant when it comes to travel. I can't do shit for myself, haha. And yeah, means we can meet people on the way there. I seriously think this is gonna be totally aceRevelo said:Nice to meet you Gav, I'm Chris =)Nivag said:Ok that's ace. Names Gav. Yo!
I did note earlier in the topic you didn't appear fond of traveling on your own, and jennys experience speaks for itself. So I'm happy to guide eastbound Escapists to our destination. And get to know you all in the process. Nice to meet another local too =D
The stations in worcester are carefully disguised XDGeek@Heart said:Yeah eventually. Not realising the station was at the end of the high street.
