i remember seeing a restriction on the one near kings cross.

edit: not all of them have age restrictions, some can.

if we end up camping or the hostel is age restricted, can some of us stay in hotels nearby and just stay in touch by phone or something?

No it doesn't. Go to the Imax, the sheer spectacle of whatever you watch makes it worth it. The weekend is already gonna cost loads so one more extravagant event will hardly make a difference.

Okay first off, does norwich trainstation remind you of the opening scene of half life 2, I swear me and my mate went through and kept muttering quotes eg "pick up the can" to each other

Secondly and more on track, shout which train your getting, If I'm gonna get lost in the london tubes I'm damn well not doing it alone.

It hadn't, but I'm sure it will now.

And I'll let you know what train I'm getting; although I have a notoriously bad sense of direction, but I've got a pretty good record with the underground. What station are you getting on at?

And it's the reason I'm so protective of myself that i can't meet someone i met on WoW (which i used to play)/on a forum in real life purely because I know for all intents and purposes that though I chat with them daily, I know (through pictures and experience) that they'll be a creepy, smelly, overweight, pimply, unhappy stranger. Emphasis on the unhappy.

Voila - and that's why I'll never go to one of these pseudomasochistic get-togethers.

To rephrase, basically it's because I rather dislike your average, shallow human~

there's always a risk meeting people off the internet, even in groups with a staff member (maybe) going
but this is meant to be for fun! =D to get to know our fellow escapists better, so its kinda worth the small risk
