To be quite honest it's a bit of a trade off. I went the escapist forums to kind of be able to flex intellect and learn and hear things from other intellectuals. And the thing about a website like this which is like concentrate smart/philosophical people is that. Well. They can tend to be arrogant douchebags. I always tend to have this problem I remember when I went to a computer summer school trip to hang out with other computer lovers. By the end of the week I hated all of them it was like being in the twilight zone where the love of the same things only made it worse because it still meant you were alone socially just surrounded by people who consider you an equal, superior, or inferior to the subject in question.
It may help that I am anti social and my primary form of commuincation comes from people coming up to me and talking to me and I talk to them back. It's not very often that I go up too people and talk to them randomly and in a forum it's just question answer sort of perfect for me but it's not really a place where you can like buddy buddy with people I mean you can it's just that you have to already have to be social and I'm just not.
So to answer the main topic I would drink with no one. I might talk to people about stuff. ask them questions but it's like buisness for me. And I don't mingle where I work.

Hmm, probably Sky, Furburt, and anyone whom I talk to on a semi-regular basis on Twitter. You poor souls know who you are.
Well, since I don't drink alcohol, I'll have a Dr Pepper. I can't really think of anybody. I'm sure many of the people I can think of (including myself) are underage for alcohol consumption. Maybe Divine Miss Bee, since she's my only "official" friend on the site.
Easy. I would have a drink with Asturiel, when I think on the Escapist the first image that comes to me is his avatar. He is one of the few people who have made me feel better actually...
This guy right here, actually. He seems like a great, laid-back kind of dude. Yeah, he's got some years on me, but that's probably a good thing. I'm not a fan of people my age, for the most part.SimuLord said:
