Early forge walloff only works when they do it all-in, which they do at the lower ladders. Up here, they use that as a transition into mutas and go muta/ling endgame which absolutely rapes. The walloff for Protoss forces you into an economic corner, and it doesn't work on some maps (Scrap Station for example).

Also, edited the OP with everyone's names so far.

I'm not sure if you have enough time for that as a protoss, I've heard of a stalker rush strategy to counter it, but you have to time it just right and probably loose a few probes.
So protoss=screwed at the moment
Hm. Try making a narrow channel between your first pylon and gateway and blocking it with a zealot. That way your zealots only have to fight one or two zerglings at a time. Keep lining your zealots up to take the place of their dead comrades. Once you finish off the zerglings, rush in with the zealots you've got.
I tried to do that but most maps doesn't allow you to block the ramp with only a gateway and a pylon, and even if i can manage they just smash the pylon and I'm screwed again.
But luckily it's fixed now
Btw my name is still DrunkenVoid.haze still EU though

I have never really been into RTS games and never played SC1. I did play a little bit of CC3 and liked it so I figure I would give SCII a shot since everyone claims SC was the perfect RTS. I would love to get in on some practice as I am assuredly an awful RTS players. I just pre-ordered so i don't have my key yet but will update when I figure out what my name will be.

Well I know this really isn't the thread to be asking advice in, but this is the most appropriate place on this board. Anyone know hot to beat Protoss players as Zerg? It seems no matter what I do I always get beaten by them. Usually their Zealots overpower my zerglings early in the game. Then I get locked in my base only capable of holding my position through the use of spine crawlers. Tried using bannelings, but they weren't very effective. Same goes for roaches. So I'm really at a loss as to what to do in the early game to prevent a Protoss player from blocking any of my efforts to expand.

Use your mobility to your advantage. Zerglings are faster than Zealots, even more so with the upgrade. Unless you outnumber them 3 or 4 to 1, don't attack. Rather, try to lure the zealots out of position and attack his workers.
Remember to keep your Roaches and Queen walking away from his Zealots. If you stay on the Creep they might never catch up to you.
If there's a lot of Zealots outside your base, you can use Creep Tumors to expand the creep and attack with the Spine Crawlers.
Mutalisks are always good against Protoss.

Mutalisks are by far the most effective tool you have against Protoss, get them as quickly as possible. 6 lings at the very beginning will likely give you map control as if they haven't walled off you can run past zealots and wreck his probes. Build 1-2 spine crawlers near your hatchery if you see him get more than one gateway, those will last until he gets immortals, by which time you should have mutalisks.

Mutalisks and speedlings (upgraded zerglings) en masse will absolutely wreck most anything Protoss are going to put out. Hit the mineral like with Mutas, move the speedlings into the expansion or front of the base and take out a couple buildings. All the while you need to be expanding (making more hatcheries at more mineral patches) and just out producing him.

Also, scout them to make sure they aren't getting an early Void Ray. Void Rays will take your queen and will likely get there before you get Hydras if he dumps all his money into making them, then they wreck your hatchery and gg.
