Fox News is biased bullshit. But so is every other news channel in America (except for Bloomberg). There is not enough news to fill 24 hours a day, every day, so all the channels give into sensationalism and interviews with people who don't matter in the grand scheme of anything.

Oh, they do everything deliberately. You ever seen any of their leaked e-mails and memos? They know they're being misleading and yet they continue down the path. They're a disgrace to anyone that's ever considered themselves a journalist, and their hypocrisy and misinformation knows no bounds.

Well, put simply, they're a bunch of idiots and anyone who watches them and thinks they're right about anything is also a complete idiot. What I don't get is how they can say thair news is "fair and balanced".

Sorry for being an ignorant Englishman here, but how the hell can the NEWS be "fair and balanced"? That just makes no sense. There are no "sides" to news, there's accurate and inaccurate. There is FACT and FICTION. If something happens in the world then it happens, there is no narrative you can make out of it, you just present the facts and let people make up their own minds about what to do with that information.

You cannot present the "other side" of a news story because there simply isn't one to begin with. There is FACT and there is FICTION. If you're just trying to push an agenda then you are not giving us NEWS you're giving us BULLSHIT.

Simple as that.

I honestly don't understand the appeal of biased news. The news isn't there for your entertainment, it's there to keep you informed. Seriously, if unbiased news bores you, then maybe you don't care much about the truth.

I watch Fox News regularly. I also watch CNN, MSNBC, and CBS. That's really the best way to watch news, getting it from several sources. It lets you sort out what's what on your own.

Rant begin.

But really, I see all of the Escapist saying that Fox News outright LIES on a regular basis. Does anyone care to give me examples of everyday news that they have blatantly lied? And not because of later developments, times that they actually lie on normal stories and don't correct themselves or seem to care. I know the whole Mass Effect debacle was crap; and that is one aspect of Fox that I passionately dislike, the network's seeming hate for video games (Although there was a story about how games can teach and enrich lives (such as teaching, great experiences, etc) and they mentioned Assassin's Creed 2 as a great game for its beautiful Renaissance setting. And by the way, Gretchen Carlson is the worst reporter on matters of video games.). There are always those stupid stories (i.e. when Fox used a "report" from The Onion) but those are flukes in my opinion.

I'm sorry for any discombobulation in the above paragraph, it's really a jumble of thoughts that's hard to put down in writing. I feel vastly outnumbered. Preparations for flame war complete.
youtube fox news lies. and some additional words to stop a low content post ban.

Check out the documentary "outfoxed". Like most (all?) documentaries it's a bit biased but it's still enlightening and very entertaining.

Yeah, I'm of the view that it's the world's longest sustained trolling exercise.

I think it's damned hilarious! I like to play a little game where everytime I feel the urge to facepalm I take a drink instead. I got drunk on light beer halfway through the O'Rielly Factor ;)
You could also drink every time you hear any of the following phrases on FOX:

-Jesus/God
-Christian
-9/11
-Socialist Nazi Conspiracy
-Shariah Law

Hope you stocked up on booze!

This basicaly, it's all over the place and very easy to find.

When your news programs are less truthful than the onion, I think there might be some real issues.

Why do they keep talking about liberal media when they're the only major news station?

(Check this out, image search for "Fox Anchor": http://tinyurl.com/3nwjf45 )

But you have to love how they come up with those hot female anchors from ??? They obviously have no journalism background. What are they, cloning models? and then brainwashing them?

I can't figure it out, plus, once their hotness and appeal is used up, they'll never land a job anywhere else.

Saying you worked for FOX in the news industry is the black mark of death. Once selling your bias to go there, you have to stay there, but when your looks are gone... ????

They are biased. Sure, conveniently I tend to have a certain guilty pleasure for news biased towards my views and dislike news biased against my views. But that's not the end of it. Fox is Biased and won't man up to it. They are a republican organization, furthering a right wing conservative ideology to the letter, and they present facts and do there research according to what supports there viewpoint. They pretend like they are fair and balanced. It is grossly misleading. I could simply disagree with their opinions (constantly) but as it is they are just dishonest.

I don't usually watch the news. I really love the show Red Eye (on Fox News), though.
Then again, I'm a Republican. I feel like Fox is the only news station that gives the right side of the political spectrum any say.

See first quote.

Fox News lies about lying. Before we even come to Murdoch, and so help me, we could come to Murdoch.

Do you think they're a stupid network who get mixed up and over react by accident, or do they over-sensationalize deliberately?
And when/what exactly made you form this opinion?
Fox News is clearly the propaganda branch of the GOP. Their every opinion revolves around extreme right-wing authoritarian ideals. Shep Smith is there only real news anchor there. They're main goals is to divide our populace in an effort to distract us from the things that really matter in America.

Death Panels anyone?

I don't have a problem with Fox News. Yeah, they're inaccurate and biased as fuck, but so is every news station ever. I don't agree with them, but I still watch them just so I know what I'm constantly disagreeing with.
