Bill Bailey should have been entered as Britian's entry.

I wouldn't care if we lost, I just want Bill to be, well, Bill.

Still don't understand why Spain had to go again.

Also, am I only one who noticed that the Estonia guy looked scarily similar to Matt Bellamy?
I'll make sure to look.

Edit: Also, did you all have subtitles on? What Serbia said is interesting.

Guy jumped on stage , Spain guy got emo ( I blame the curly hair). Eurovision decided " Go for it , you wont win anyway"

Ah, apparently I missed that when I was watching it...

Edit: Well that was interesting. Flashmob.

I haven't followed it closely, but this year it seems like a pretty pale competition, worth only to get drunk at. lol

Anyway, here's what I think is the best song from our country, at least from those I've heard

I enjoyed the Flashmob thing, that was excellent.

Shame Germany won, the song was so so, does any one remember when people who were not already famous were the only ones allowed to enter?

I think it's a bit unfair that the German entry was a number 1 hit. Pants.

Shame UK came last, but what were we expecting, really?

Let's ask Dame Edna to go next year and do a strip tease?

Well it has gotten way too political for my tastes. You don't go from being the country that has won it the most to have never won a single contest since the streak ended. If it was actually still about talent and had some variety I might watch it still but I have given up on it for now.

Our german girl wasn't really famous already. She won a casting show that was held just to get a good candidate for the contest because we lost hard in the last years. She's only been known for about a month or so.

Anyway. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay we won! ;P

You should have won with Dita Von Teese! (The singing was shite... but it's Dita Von Teese for god sake!)

Damn Germans. The Turks deserved victory this year.
That girl was wearing the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger helmet, sprayed silver. You can see the T-Rex pattern around the eyes. Brilliant ^-^

I live in Canada, but I heard about Eurovision when I was visiting relative in Switzerland. They were saying something about this Lordi band that's so terrible and all, and how it's rediculous that they won.

Them being incredibly conservative, I figured I'd probably love a band they hate. I searched them up when I got home. I think it's hilarious that a band like this won such a conservative contest! I love it. It would be like having a black metal singer metal-growling his way to win American Idol.

Afraid I don't follow it otherwise, but that Pirate song someone linked is hilarious. I would vote for anyone that doesn't play that god awful bouncy pop my aunt loves so much... Ugh. I'm glad that shit isn't on the radio in Canada, but 9/10 of Switzerland's stations seem to play it.

Well I think the shitty singing of Alex Christensen and Oscar Loya overshadowed her.

Being somewhat turkish by origin and living in germany puts me in a different position here, but Turkey should have won (or maybe slowenia, but they didn't even survive preliiminary, so what gives). Eurovision isn't the place to expect good music from.

But the worse thing about the whole contest is how people get all worked up about it. Right now, there's idiots running around down in the streets celebrating, besides having done absolutely bloody nothing to the success of this mediocre-at-best abomination of a song.
Seriously, why do people feel some kind of accomplishment, when some untalented singer (or sports team for that matter) happens to share their nationality?

[sub]Now if you'll excuse me, I need to open all windows in the flat, and play very loud deathmetal, to screw with some celebrations[/sub]
