My written english might be kinda off, so bear with it if you can, but yes, I was bullied.
It was frequent for like, dunno, 6 years or so from third grade to ninth grade. At first it was because I was kinda naive and dimwitted?... add to the mix that I was socially awkward and I have a little hearing impairment (I can hear and don't need any signs language, but you know how kids can be). But later on it was just because it was fun to see how I'd react without any real ill intentions.
In the last (with a previous school change, since the one I attended didn't have a high-school) 3 years or so of the bullying I started befriending em and being more social and through they kept doing that, it was just friendly jokes (in their own way) until I finally learned not to care about it and went along with the jokes myself. The last 3 years of high-school were the most wonderful ones because I finally got more friends than before, and stopped getting pissed off out of every lil' thing. It's fair to say that nowadays I'm very patient thanks to that, and it's kinda difficult to get me angry :p.

There was this one guy that bullied me like crazy. I would not give in to it though. He finally had enough and challenged me to a fight. I showed up and beat him by not even throwing a punch or kick.

How? I let his weight carry him as I sidestepped his charges and he fell a couple times.

I then looked down on him and told him that I pitied him for believing that violence could solve anything...then walked away. He tried charging one more time at full speed. I sidestepped again near a wall and he smacked himself into it. I then helped him up and told him to stop it. He did and never bothered anyone else again.

Funny thing is I am a tall beanpole of a fellow with no muscles to see of and he was the muscle bound heavy type. How embarrassing for him.

Was bullied for most of elementary school really. From maybe 3rd grade to 5th. Only ended when I actually fought back. That is honestly the best advice I can give. They will keep botherin you until you prove you have a spine and won't stand for their shit. You don't even have to win the fight, just show them you are willing to fight and damn the consequences.
Probably would have been bullied in high school too but I ended up befriending two guys who ended up being over 6 feet tall and was actually on pretty ood terms with the guys who could have ended up being bullies since I was a long haired metalhead in highschool. Was still basically a shy nerd but I didn't really look it anymore.

I have never been bullied because I know how to talk like a really cocky bastard. Whenever anyone tries to threaten me, I always managae to convince them that maybe I might not be as weedy as I look (even though I am). My advice is to pretend you are in complete control of the situation, it really confuses and intimidates people.

There was one guy who persistently did anything in his power to annoy me, and sometimes physically assaulted me, so I decided to fight him. Problem was I tried to hit him in the face which only came out as a pathetic slap. he brings it up whenever I try to defend myself now.

all of middle school I was bullied by "stonger" kids in other words fatties who thought they could do what they want to me. I ambushed each of them in the locker room and they never bothered me excpet for one who the next day t-bagged me, so I stuck his head in his locker (they were 1 foot by 1 foot) and slammed the door on his head until my friend pulled me away infront of 100 kids I was never bothered again

Ive been and have done verbal bullying and I'm not proud of it or ashamed really. Kids are truely evil little monsters to each other though.

EDIT:
I do know a good story where a prick was bothering one of my friends because he had red hair. My friend just pulled out a knife and looked at him. The guy never bothered him again.

I've been bullied every single day of my life for 4-5 years until I was homeschooled. Now that I look back I'm surprised I never thought of suicide. I guess I'm just mentally stronger then physically. I was a pansy and still am. I expect it to continue this year when I go back. We'll see though.

I still have nightmares too.

I was bullied by the same group of people from grade school till about 7th or 8th grade. That's when I started fighting back. By the time I hit high school, with a whole new set of people trying to pick on me, it was so ingrained in me that I should fight back, I damn near got into a fist fight against 4 other guys who happened to be linemen for the football team. We all ended up getting in trouble after a security guard came and broke us up, and they never bothered me again, nor did anyone else. One of the kids actually got suspended which prevented him from lettering that year. I think he was more butthurt about that than anything else.

Moral of the story: I don't care how nerdy or out of shape you are, if you act like an insane person towards the person(s) bullying you, win or lose, you'll gain respect and the bullying usually stops.

Don't get me wrong though. I was far from out of shape in high school, I played 3 different sports in 7 different leagues after all, but to act like I could take on 4 really big guys at once is pretty ballsy. I was scared beyond belief when I approached them. It's all about getting over that initial fear. Besides, a black eye and hurt pride is nothing compared to being tormented all the time.

This may sound like Im stroking my own mane but when I was bullied in middle school I made it clear that I wouldnt fly with that shit, and got into a fight where I easily beat him up.

For those who have never been in a fight, just know that the typical "street kid" who throws windmill punches and grabs your waist is easy pickings if you have any sort of martial arts training.

As for my fight... it was after school and After I had him saying sorry, his friends came to beat me up. I still have a scar from when one of those dicks hit me with some fucking ring on his hand.

I lived in Youngstown, and I was one of the few white children in my second grade class. Naturally, the first time I went to the bathroom I was ganged up on. Sort of like a little hazing initiation, nothing serious. I panicked though, and it took three kindergarten teachers to pry us all apart. I got the brunt of it, but I knocked some teeth out and blacked a few eyes.

I may be no badass, but I sure as hell am taking an eye and a tooth as I go down.

I won't say about my own story, as it is long, largely unbeleivable, and people tend not to react kindly to it. Such is the internet.

I will say this. If you are being bullied, fight back, and do it sooner than later. No-one is going to help you, the teachers are lying when they say they're doing all they can, they are doing absolutely nothing. It's better if you send the clear message now that you won't be messed with than later when you will be too angry to control yourself, and thus you may end up doing something you will regret.

um, well, it wasn't really bullying, but i'll share it anyways.

i was eating lunch with my group of friends, and then suddenly, in the group next to us, one of the kids had an apple thrown at him. We all looked to see where it had came from, then i turned back and chuckled a bit. The kid saw me and instantly assumed it was me who had thrown it. He walked up the stairs (about 4 steps high) up to me and pegged the apple as hard as he could; luckily it missed me. He walked up to me and threw a punch, so i jumped back then forward again to grab him by the back of his shirt, and flung him around, until finally letting go, sending him tumbling down the 4 steps. And that was the end of it. He still goes to my school, but we tend to just stay away from each other now.
