ever been so lucky (or I suppose good) that you've been accused of cheating online

Yep, but usually only by people I've just killed who don't like being killed :)

I think it only really happens in Modern Warfare 2 though...

I played CS 1.6 somewhat professional and was banned on several public server - best thing was when I was playing for a friend in a lower ranked clan as ringer and they had to unban me so I could participate in the clan war.

Yep. And it was definitely more luck than skill.

I was playing MW2 ages ago on Hardcore Team Deathmatch and was on 23 kills for 0 deaths. Then one of my teammates shot me in the head because they thought I was nuke-boosting. To be fair, if the positions had been reversed I would have made the same call.
Wait - you relate a story where you were considered good, and you admit it was primarily luck? Are you sure you're posting in the right forums? You sound too grown up.

OP: I suck against real people, but the AI often accuses me of cheating.

It happens all the time to me. I use real-world tactics, altered slightly for the videogame world, and I usually do really well. I also silence my weapons, if I have that option available.

So yeah, every time I step out and silently spray someone from behind because he's a dumbass and forgets to check his six,

"UR A NOOB HAKER!!!"

while not exactly been accused of cheating guys on wow accused me of using my feminine wiles to get into good guilds before. Which is just about as insulting...

My mum called shenanigans on me when I said I hadnt done a yoshi part of super mario galaxy 2 before and I was doing it for my nephew. I kept looking away from the screen to talk to her and carrying on with it. Yay reflexes...

I've been banned from a server in CoD 4 because I took a lucky shot through smoke from across the entire map and killed an admin. I happened to be a sniper, so my k/d was through the roof. And in other servers, when I'm having a good day, i'm almost used of being accused of cheating. Lucky for me, I'm a regular there so most of the admins know me.

I don't think I get this cos' I always mute everyone on the occasions I play MP... but my friend is insanely good at COD and gets shouted at lots. He plays with the sensitivity all the way up and somehow is still in control, so he can target + shoot someone faster than should be possible. And he sometimes spins around 360 and shoots people in the face before they have even begun firing...

Thats what happens when you play up through every COD game since 4 and get close to the final prestige... in all of them...
You also go from being pretty ripped to pretty flabby.

It happened to me very often in Call of Duty 4.
Mostly people accusing me of a modded controller because I could fire handguns very fast.
And if you ever go at least 20 and 0, people will always think you are cheating.
This. Unbelievable.. Just because i can press the trigger somewhat fast does not equal me hacking. It's due to internet connection that my handgun goes with short bursts, then extreme speed. No one believed me.

Killzone 3, I once shot a disguised infiltrator and he got rather angry. Really I was just a bit jumpy, thought I accidentally shot a teammate...

how about you guys any crazy war stories from the front-lines or tales of grand bequeath-ment of death on the fields of yore that blew people's minds?
Yes. I think I've told this story before on another thread, but I don't remember...
I had been accused of cheating from way as far back as America's Army (if you're not familiar with this game, one of the things it was famous for was no respawns). I guess I sort of deserve that, maybe, mainly because of things like starting a match with an arse of an admin who basically said he was going to set us up in a Mexican standoff that turned into an execution of my (unarmed) team, and ended with me having three kills. Or using pistols with the kind of accuracy most people get from assault rifles. Or firing a SAW full-auto into a CQB bit with one of my teammates from quite a bit off, and only killing the enemy. Or starting out as the squad medic (who was generally banned from fun guns like the sniper rifles) and ending a match with several sniper kills (its not like the dead guy I couldn't revive was going to use it.)

Most spectacularly and frequently was with a different MMO FPS. By that time, I really didn't like people cheating (for real, not like when people say I cheat), so I would purposefully target people glitching, hacking, or generally playing well. This would include counter-sniping campers, , killing glitchers, shooting people doing wall hacks, fly hacks, and lag-hacks (let's just say the game was set up such that people so inclined could just make themselves switch between normal and horrible lag at will and turn that into an advantage), fighting people purposefully unbalancing matches (all you had to do was get some of your friends on the other team, who would quit after it started, and what starts out as a 5-5 match would sometimes become a 5-2 or a 5-1. 3 and 4-1s were still much more common though.) and killing people doing other hacks that made them nearly invulnerable. First major serious complaint was when I bumped #1 on the Australian server down to #4 in one match by out-sniping him, something that for some reason made it so no one else on the Australian server would play with me. After that, mods starting getting complaints about me almost every match. It got bad enough the mods played lots of matches against me with their own (legal) hacks, to try and find out how I was cheating. It didn't result in them punishing me, but because of that, they did balance out one gun a little better. After that, for the longest time, at least one mod would watch almost every match I played, something I found out when they cut one of the clan matches I was in short because the other team was cheating. Long story short, they found out I wasn't cheating, got in contact with me through my clan leader (who happened to be my little brother), and unofficially hired out the whole clan (with me in particular, mostly paying me in cash weapons, that my little brother was very pissed to find out were better than the ones he was getting) to continue being anti-cheat. This was followed by regular reports to my clan leader along the lines of "this is all the shit people have reported him for today."

If you're still confused as to why they thought this unofficial hire was a good idea, reason one was that nearly half of the people who reported me did so along the lines of "Well, he must have been using a really powerful cheat because I was using such and such a cheat and he still killed me!". Reason two was that they were still required to watch several of my matches a week, because of all the reports. Reason three was this was long before they had effective ways to keep track of, or punish, cheaters.

Not to sound like an arrogant ass, but if a round passes in most FPS's I play without getting called a cheater, it's doomsday. I can't help I have a natural talent playing them and using my rather epensive headset to actually listen to the sound and use it to make a "hack shot".

Can't say Im good enough to be accused much of hacking, so the few times I was actually lucky enough to be called one stay with me :p

1 time as Spy, and once as Pyro, both in TF2. As pyro, my opponent (a scout) became incredibly annoying over the mic, so I started airblast juggling him. He ragequitted :p

Twice in Halo: Reach Invasion.

I typically get upwards of 30 kills per game in addition to lot's of objective time and the first time I was accused, I was doing better than usual and I got a message saying "Fuck you you fucking hacking cheating *****!". To which I replied, "That is the best compliment I have ever received. Thank You."

I used to get accused of cheating in Day of Defeat 1.3 all the time. I wore headphones and got really good at detecting people by their footsteps, so when we met I already had a hail of bullets aimed toward their upper body.

Occasionally happens to me and some buddies when we're on a roll in BC2.

I can kinda see where they're coming from, they don't have to see all the failed assaults, the spawndeaths and other unfortunate events that surround the core of greatness like a grand bog of misery. And when you're on a roll with the shotguns in that game, you roll hard.
