Ever bought something on impulse and regretted it?

Well... pretty much a lot of my Warhammer and Flames of War miniatures... even now that nice King Tiger model is just smiling towards me.

My god.. This thread. It's almost like a sign. I'm in a crazy impulsive buying spree now and I think I'm a little addictive :S Bought Prince of Persia, Spiderman: Web of Shadows, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, NBA Live 08, Kane and Lynchead Men and Red Faction Guerilla all impulsive, all super cheap, all for the PS3. But I don't like NBA and Double Agent lags to much. Prince of Persia was meh, beautiful game, wonderful music but too damn easy Don't even get my started on Kane and Lynch.

A tip to anyone who sees a really cheap game! Ask your self this: "If I could only buy one game this year, would this be it?" If not or a meh, THEN DON'T! Save the money and buy a good game instead, you know a game you're actually interested in. Trust me it ain't worth it. Now I've gotta go and restrain my self to a chair and ask my mom to feed me

what did you think of red faction?

Heh funny, I thought someone would reply on that I'm still waiting for it, bought it over the internet. Should arrive tomorrow. Looks interesting. Saint's Row 2 is in my top five games of all time so I thought, Guerilla got nice reviews, same publishers, and the geomod looks interesting, why not?

What did you think of it?? On a scale 1 to 2 ;P

well, thats an odd scale, I would give it a 2, because it definetly doesnt deserve a lousy one. The multiplayer is rather awesome and tons of fun. and the destruction physics are awesome in single player and online. I definetly dont regret buying it! great game overall

I played Red Faction: Guerilla this weekend. I've gotta say, I'm impressed First half hour was a little meh. Making me go "Don't tell me I bought another shitty game". But after an hour I was hooked Massive fun, the Geomod is fantastic. I'm not much of a "destroy everything that moves with nukes" kind of guy but in Guerilla it's implemented beautifully. Shooting your way into a base, bomb the enemys central HQ, the enemy surrounds you and you go "fuck it, I'll blast through a wall" and then you blast through a wall and escape Fucking awesome, definetly worth the buy
And when an enemy tower collapses, I mean whoh. It looks fucking awesome :O

Don't have an ethernet connection so haven't tried multi

Glad you liked it as much as I did its a shame you cant try multiplayer. its a freaking blast
