yes, yes I have, when I bought the Orange box, I already had Half-Life 2 and ep.1 so I gave both to a friend. Also, some time ago, I gave another friend a digital copy of Monkey island via steam as a birthday gift

I once received a copy of HL2 Death match, but you can get that free regardless.

Yes I have. Twice. And it annoys me that they can now play those games and I can't play ANY of mine.
hm, why is that? Lost your account?
Not at all. The account was suspended by Steam with no notification, explanation or justification. In fact, my repeated requests for any type of explanation as to what was going on was met with the same pre-programmed response, and to this day I still don't know what happened.
Out of curiosity, what did the response tell you?
I quote:

"Hello

========= Please enter your reply ABOVE this line =========

A staff member has replied to your question:

Unfortunately, the account has been deactivated. Thank you."

Rinse and repeat.
Did you use more then 1 credit card to buy things off STEAM?
I never bought anything off Steam, and I haven't had a credit card in years (I give in to temptation, you see).

Bought a friend Team Fortress 2. I wanted to buy four copies of Left 4 Dead as well for myself and my friends but since I'm still underaged, I have no method of payment.

There's a way to resend it if it fails, I'm sure.

OT: Gifted my Dad a spare copy of HL2.

Heh, no, the "never received" part wasn't linked to me gifting HL2:DM. Rather, I had never received a game from someone.

Pardon my poor wording.

My brother gave me a copy of HL2 that he had an extra copy of because of The Orange Box.
