Sometimes at night I just imagine everything on fire and it makes me happy, damned happy. But then I remember there are good people out there, people who worship Cthulhu, so I suppose what I am trying to say is I still have faith in Cthulhu. People not so much.

I am aware that no one group of people can speak for the entirety of humanity. However, I do lose a little faith whenever I see a tea party rally.

Every day. If you still have faith in Humanity, your head is in the sand. We are broken as a species and I'm not even sure if a planet sized enema can solve the problem.

That's not to say there is nothing good about Humanity, it's just...too many things are wrong and nobody seems to care. Those that do seem to care, or at least say they can, are more inclined to cry than rise to the occasion.

Yeah, we're toast.

if you have no faith in humanity, then your morals will slowly deteriorate.

I'm sorry, I believe my words... were poorly typed. I threw them together quickly, and they didn't come out right. You see, where I live, everyone listens to the Jonas Brothers, which doesn't bug me in the slightest. What does is when they get in my face about it. In fact, I'm a monster for not listening to them. Thats where the "when they act like fools" comes into play. Thats what I tried to say, but it did sound like I was bashing them merely for listening, and for that, I apologize. Your also right about how no one looks cool with the whole "losing faith in humanity isn't cool" thing. As hard as it is to live the college life, I still have a bunch of people who appreciate me, so it should be impossible to say that I've lost faith in humanity.
It's just that some Jonas Brothers fans... just bug me... they won't shut up...
In a couple of years time they'll have either grown up enough to realise that other people can have different tastes, or they'll have moved onto a different, perhaps better band du jour.

Yes. That is why I live here, in the forest, with my elven bretheren. After stupid ruled the world I went off into the elven highlands. Out here stupid people are murdered by men wearing masks. Take our neighbor Jason for example. Every Halloween he comes out to clean the nearby stupid. He's doing his part. Are you?

While the majority may be idiots I know that the right people are leading us to a brighter future.
That strikes me as insanely naive at a time where the national debt our leaders have racked up have us owing our creditors over $200,000 per citizen, and the same people who got America into this current mess have been put in the positions to "pull us out of it". As if. I have no faith in humanity as a whole. There are good people everywhere, but they are way outnumbered and outpowered by bastards who are flushing the rest of us down the toilet. If you just want to live and let live prepared to be rolled over by some douche who wants to subjugate you.

Every single time I see something by the Westboro Baptist Church, Jack Thompson, Twilight, or Michael Atkinson.
