Damn it, you made me lose The Game!

...and on topic, I seem to have lost all my old Gameboy games (except Tetris, but that's only because it was left in the Gameboy).
I hate the OPs and your guts right now.
jk.

Just what I needed before taking off to work...

I can't find my Rayman 2 disc anywhere anymore.

I want my shiny magical adventure :(
I think I found it actually.
Though there are many similar ones, this one filled almost all of the prerequisites;

Otherwise you can check out "list of games with female protagonists" at the bottom. ,)

I managed to lose all my Starcraft and Warcraft discs somehow, and ended up buying them again.

Also, I suspect my mother lost my Nomad disc. That game was a classic of yesteryear! Fly around space trading with other aliens and shooting missiles at the ones with evil robots! And you had five bars of chocolate that were worth more than gold!

Boy, haven't I.

Diablo 2 LoD CD. I had to buy a new set.

Rayman 2... I had to buy a new copy when a magazine had it on its cover.

Jazz Jackrabbit - lost CD and the box. Jazz Jackrabbit: X-Mas Edition - I still have the box, but I no longer have the CD. I know who might have it, but she probably forgot where it is.

Jack Orlando - not that good game, but it's nostalgy... Thank God I could, again, buy a magazine with the game.

The only game I really regret loosing was Diablo 2. Because Rayman 2 is dirt cheap (and I've already finished it), Jack Orlando wasn't that great and I would probably not play it anyway and... JJ is an abadonware.

I lost my original copy of Chrono Cross. I played it so often that my parents hid it, or maybe my brother hid it because I was always hogging the PSone. Anyway, I never got to beat it. Then I found a copy and bought it less than a year ago. I now count it among my favorite all time games.

I lost the game! But on-topic, I still can't find my copy of Prince of Persia Sands of Time, which annoys me to no end.

I physically lost the CD-Key for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. It drove me insane, I spent about 3 years looking for it, then when i found it i remembered that Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is shit and threw it out.

True story.
That drives me nuts, I hate those damn CD-Key's!
I lamented losing all the half life 2 CDs and key, but to my joy I found I didn't need them anymore when I installed steam for l4d. Yay steam and the death of cdkeys

Only game I've ever lost. Fire Emblem for the Game Boy Advance.

Oh how I loved that game :(
I recently found my copy of Fire Emblem which was amazing, I was overjoyed since I could now replay it in my DS that I'd won in the summer. Rapture thought I as I played it to death. That was incredible said I to myself, said I, I shall play the second one now for that was even more enjoyable to me back then! I'll just go and... and get my... my GBA... Goddamn it son-of-a-whore rang throughout the house!
For it 'twas lost d'ye see.

Edit: Also everyone here who has made me lose 'The Game', damn you all to hades.

I lost my Pokemon Blue game cartridge two years ago and found it in an old bumbag (that's fanny pack if you're from the US) along with all my old Gameboy games. I almost lapsed into a seizure of joy until I tried to play it and found the internal battery had run dry D:

My Steam account once got stolen and I almost lost the equivalent of the Valve complete pack (All of the HL1 engine games, most of the Source games and a couple non-Valve games I got through Steam) but thankfully Steam customer support is actually helpful and I was able to provide them with photographic evidence of the Orange Box key that I had registered to my Steam account. They accepted this as proof and helped me get my account back.

To everyone who alludes to the meme of having "lost the game",
That was not my intention.
And objectively, it only really works if you yourself think you have. ,)
Apologies for any misconceptions.

Sir,
If you may I recommend the game "Zangband"?
It's freeware on sourceforge. It's a little like an updated moria.
It's a simple looking, tile-based adventure with litterally millions of maps, monsters, traps and loot.
