Yep.

Lost my copy of Rogue Squadron on the N64 way back when. Pissed me off something fierce. I loved that game and played the hell out of it and then one day it was gone never to be seen again.

"Lost" Pokemon Silver a while back (more recent than you'd think) when my "friend" was over. I lost my CD key to Portal 1, also, so I can't give it to a friend (I got the Orange Box later).

If this counts, I also recently had my external hard drive destroyed (I dropped it :( ) and I lost a lot of games...

Also, I lost the game.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I also lost some games for old Gameboy (the original!) somewhere, but they weren't that fun anyway. At least, I think so. I can't remember. I still have Pokemon Red, though! :D

I have a few times. LEGO Rock Raiders was my first. Had to buy the damn thing again. Then Pokémon Red and Sonic Advance, just because I can't remember where I put'em.

Lost my copy of CoD 4. I had it on my shelf and it just vanished the next day. I tore the house apart looking for the damn thing but never found it.

Same thing happened with my Pokemon Silver cartridge. I suspect it got thrown away by accident when my family did some mass house cleaning.

Yeah, I lost the disk to my copy of Jak X. I still have the disc with the extras on it though. But it's no big deal as I bought it second-hand and it never worked anyway.

Silent Hill 4 on the PS2 and Final Fantasy 6 on the GBA. I was near the end of them both and they disappeared.

I haven't lost any yet, but someone lost their copy of GTA: San Andreas in my PS2 at a school party once. No one bothered to come reclaim it, so I still have it sitting around. Sadly the disk is scratched as hell and barely works, which is probably why the person left it in there in the first place.

Dungeon Keeper. I was heartbroken. It was an amazing game that let you be the bad guy.

I never found out what happened to my copies o' Hellgate: London, Battlefield 2, Battlefield Vietnam, GTA: Liberty City Stories, and Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition. But, I'm ok. I rebought Dub Edition. Everything else is just curious nostalgia that's not really worth going back to replay. Although, I do miss Hellgate sometimes. Such a cool looking game, that one.

Lost my copy of Rayman 2 The Great Escape. Pretty sad about it, too, I love that game and wish I could play it again, and not on some stupid DS port.

Now all I'm left with is the inferior Rayman Hoodlum Havoc.

I've never truly physically lost a game by my own volition.

Lost track of a disc/cartridge, had it stolen, or it turning up missing during a move? All of the above.

Actually lose it myself? Hell, I can barely work up the gumption to part with games I own that I have no interest in playing! It took me six months to convince myself trading in my 360 copy of Turok was a good idea. It was still in the cellophane.

I foolishly lent Pokémon Yellow to a guy at a childminder care club thingy once. Apparently it skipped my mind at the time that I would never see him again.

Well, let's see. When I was younger my mother lent my NES to my sister's uncle. My sister's aunt, who he was seperated from stole it and the games to buy drugs. My copy of Mario Paint was stolen, along with the mouse peripheral. I lent my sister my PS1 for a week with the stipulation that it not leave her house. So, she brought it to a party, and it was returned to me missing half of my Final Fantasy VIII (non-greatest hits) discs missing, no Gran Turismo 2, and one controller missing. All that makes me a little teary-eyed when I think about it.

My copy of fucking Diablo 2. Either I lost the shit out of it or my brother gave it to one of his annoying friends. I really want that thing back.
