I once wondered what would happen if I was allowed to see what happened to Samus after she lost to Ridly in Super Metriod (the only boss that gave me any trouble, motherbrian was a fucking pushover in comaprison.) Of course I said "once" as that question has been answered thanks to the internet.

I frequently do want to see how differently things would have panned out if the bad guy won...Thats why I loved the ending to 'The Collector'

Yeah, I'd love to see the antagonist winning in "Law Abiding Citizen" (it's a movie). In the last 15 minutes it goes from great to gay, because apparantly the good guys HAVE to win.
I fully agree. I was rooting for the guy the entire time. Though I thought the actual ending scene wasn't half bad. With the bracelet and everything.

Also I'd have loved to see the bad guy win Avatar just like a lot of people here.

Ummm...yea, all the fucking time. That's why my favorite movies are thrillers like "The Usual Suspects", "Se7en", "Arlington Road", "Fight Club", "Lucky # Slevin", etc.

They're so great because the unexpected actually does happen!! No happy endings for me, please.
I can understand all of them except for Lucky Number Slevin. How does that one fit in with the rest?
I haven't seen it in a while, but I thought Hartnett somehow pulled a fast one and won...I may be wrong. He was the bad guy, right?
No, Morgan Freeman and Ben Kingsley were the bad guys.

Avatar, Star Wars, Space Balls, Mario, Transformers.

Just a few franchises I'd like to see the bad guys win.
In Avatar, just because the "evil" military was preferable to the blue kitty cat hippies.
The Empire was just cooler overall, moreso than the alliance.
The "Empire" in Space Balls, was friggin' hilarious.
Wanna see what would happen if Bowser actually succeeded in taking over the Mushroom Kingdom.
Aaaand finally, in Transformers, the decepticons would kill all the humans, more than enough reason to want them to win.

See the bad guys winning just seems very...well there fore the sake of not being clichéd. I like when the good guys win, but only after the bad guys have fucked them up so bad, they never truly recover.

Man I hate Arlington Road. That made so little sense. They were secret terrorists and never took credit for their actions or made any demands? WTF? They went through a ridiculously convoluted plan which was a series of coincidences and things they left to the protagonist to follow up on just to frame him for something the media thought he might have viably done because of his past.

Bad guy endings are great... I can't stand that one though.

I liked 'Fallen' though, that was a bad guy ending.

http://media.photobucket.com/image/vgcats%20pokemon/hatsworth/pokemon.jpg here's your wish come true in a small comicstrip.

Anyways. Whenever theres a clear distinction between good vs bad, the series always suck. When bad guys are so dastardly ebil that they steal candy from children and then stab them to death with cutlery. And where the good guys are so self-righteous and pants on head retardedly good... Well its lame, always.

At the end of MW2 I was yelling at General Shepard to stop me before I pulled the knife out of my chest because the game was too short.

I'd rather have a bad guy who isn't pure malevolence wrapped in skin, because I'm tired of people making the protagonists seem perfect by comparison to the genocidal fuckhead that we only see murdering people.
