You wake up in an insane asylum.

You have no memory except for this "Everything you thought before this *your childhood, the events that happened to you* never really happened, it was all in your imagination"

your insane, but you feel sane now *well besides for the obvious*

how would you act? What would you do next?

i would get very sad, but then i'd realize this was all just a plot by one of my many enemies to make me think i'm crazy. So I will then break out to save the day.

Well this bloody sucks. All that schoolwork for nothing.

I guess I'd convince the people at the institution that I'm not insane, and then go see the world. And perhaps write the Harry Potter books.

Kill myself? I mean, every video game I ever played, everything I've come to know and love never existed? This website never existing?

I mean, what else can I do besides end it all?

Is there a shotgun in the back?
But seriously I'd punch myself and think aloud "ABOUT FREAKING TIME"

See what life is like now. Should be good fun I'd imagine if I get to use the excuse "I'm crazy" to get pardoned from wrong doing.

I'd ramble on about how "I'm better now" to the nursing staff and hope they let me out...

When they still don't let me out, I'll write a book about my 'alternate reality' which will have 100 copies printed that gather dust in some bookstore, until they are discovered years later by a bored college student looking for something to base his essay on Modern English Literature on. When the professor reads the essay, he'll seek out the book and find it fascinating. It will become an overnight hit that will be powered by the fact it was written by an insane man...

......

Sorry, what was the question again?

The first thing I would wonder is whether or not I was still a virgin. After that, I'd want something to eat. Maybe a sandwich. Then I'd go back to sleep.

I would find a way out, and not believe that it was all a lie. Then, I would go out and try to find out if the people I thought of actually existed.

If not, I'd like to go back to my hallucinatory state.

Ah...

Ah that's just not fair...

I actually had a dream like that once, in which I woke up just as you described, but before I could do anything I woke up for real.

I almost fucking cried - something interesting happening to me for the first time ever and it got stripped away instantly.

So, in answer to your question, if that happened to me I would be absolutely ecstatic, and take it from there.
