Aye it took me a year after I started going to college before I found out what I wanted to do in life. Though now I am qualified to do that job and the beautiful irony is that no one wants to hire me. Oh well, I get free time off now at least!TizzytheTormentor said:No school for me anymore unless I go to college, but I have no idea what I want to do in life -_-thesilentman said:I'm doing fine. Yeah I don't want to rush into anything either but the student loans payback date is closing in so I don't have a lot of choice in the matter. Though I did promise my dad that if I didn't get a job by the end of the month then I'd go talk to either the Navy or Air Force recruiter. I wanted to be in the Air Force before I went into IT so being in the Air Force and doing IT jobs wouldn't be that bad. That goes for the Navy as well =PTizzytheTormentor said:My friend is doing business and some of my other mates are working or moving, so that sucks.staika said:Aye it took me a year after I started going to college before I found out what I wanted to do in life. I don't want to rush into anything, my sister did that and she heavily regretted it, she took time off and now she is doing a course in Kent (Canterbury) and she loves it.
Luckily I'm tall (6'2" or 188cm) and I am naturally athletic (somehow) but I was in a Air Force High school class type thing so it wouldn't be that bad for me. The only thing that sucks is the athletic tests but that is a small price to pay.TizzytheTormentor said:Military would never be my choice, I am not very tall, I have a bad back and I severely lack strict discipline XD.staika said:Yeah I don't want to rush into anything either but the student loans payback date is closing in so I don't have a lot of choice in the matter. Might work for a while, build up some money and pay my way through college without relying on much student loans (are they a pain?)
Not everyone is army material so I don't really blame ya. I don't even know why I am fascinated with these forces, I just am. Was like that when I was young, but in the end if it gives me a job then I'll look into it =PTizzytheTormentor said:I am something like 5'4 - 5'6 or something around there, I am not short, but I doubt I look totally "army" material, nor do I really want to join the army.staika said:Luckily I'm tall (6'2" or 188cm) and I am naturally athletic (somehow) but I was in a Air Force High school class type thing so it wouldn't be that bad for me. Well they aren't really a pain while you're in school but once your out of school and looking for a job they loom over your head. It puts a little pressure on finding a job quickly. Though if you can make it through without using them then I would suggest doing that. If you can't then they aren't that bad, I am just being a little dramatic is all >.>
I have around 2500 euro stored in my bank account and am spending some money on some luxuries like consoles, games, snacks and booze (I don't drink all that much either)
Eh I really only figured out what I wanted to do at 20, and even then I had changed my mind a few times. Luckily my degree was done so even with the delay I still finished sooner than my friends who went to a four year degree so I got luckily in that my loans weren't that bad. Though you shouldn't rush to go to school again unless you're sure that you want to do what you're studying. Though sometimes you only find out what you want to do by going to school so it's a toss up honestly.TizzytheTormentor said:I don't want to pay back student loans on a course I am not sure of doing, I have no real aspirations.
I am only 19, but I should probably get my ass in gear.
I think I reported myself.TizzytheTormentor said:How the heck did you get a warning for that dude?
