Suchong isn't evil, he just isn't constrained by the same moralistic thinking that is taken as "normal" in this Judeo-Christian society. Genetic experimentation is all fine and dandy, and who better to do it on than the homeless?
So the stripping of a human being's most basic natural right:- the right to life and self ownership, simply to further the purposes of a commercial busines(the one in question being the plasmid business) is not evil.
Rightttttttt.
Humans don't actually have any rights. Our concept of "rights" are a legal structure dictating consequence for a breach of a perceived freedom to do something or to not have something done to you. Laws can be changed and/or thrown out, and your "rights" can be revoked, suspended, or simply infringed upon at any time.
/facepalm
Yay, subjective circular logic! More amateur debate tactics! Yay!
Let me lay this out and be perfectly clear, because
nothing gets under my skin faster then the points you just made.
1. Let me define evil.
e·vil (ē'vəl) pronunciation
n.
1. The quality of being morally bad or wrong; wickedness.
2. That which causes harm, misfortune, or destruction: a leader's power to do both good and evil.
3. An evil force, power, or personification.
4. Something that is a cause or source of suffering, injury, or destruction: the social evils of poverty and injustice.
2. Now, morals to be sure.
mor·als (môr'əls, mŏr'-) pronunciation
n.
Rules or habits of conduct, especially of sexual conduct, with reference to standards of right and wrong: a person of loose morals; a decline in the public morals.
Therefore, evil is something that you get to choose, and those around you get to choose. So, Suchong fits the bill for the dictionary definition of evil. The thing that grinds my gears the most about the posts though, is that even though you claim Suchong isn't evil for those nonsensical reasons, you go on to say someone else is evil because they kill people, after saying Suchong isn't evil for killing people.
