In America...no. However, whenever I visit family in Asia, "tomato sauce" is a unique blend of spices with a tomato paste as the base. Ketchup is just sugary tomato paste in comparison. Seriously, go to your local Asian or Mexican grocery store, and buy tomato SAUCE...it'll blow your perceptions...I never eat ketchup by choice anymore.Vault101 said:Tomato sauce or "ketchup" if youre american (though I don't know for sure its the same thing)
take any perfectly good food and completly ruin it by adding tomator sauce...I'm actually grossed out just be being next to somone eating that shit...blegh!
As for the food I cannot stand...chitlins (or tripe), though most people who realize it's intestines would agree with me.
It's sort of the same reason why I am so selective about hotdogs. I enjoy the flavor, but "processed meat product" has always made me sick (renders half the Taco Bell menu inedible without a healthy swig of Pepto).
Also, Velveeta. I love the taste...but it always makes me hurl, no matter how much stomach relief I ingest...I am also pretty sure I am allergic to cayenne pepper and blue cheese, but that last one is just bacteria...
