This is pretty much a nostalgia thread. What games from Gamecube, PS2, Xbox and maybe even older consoles are fantastic even if played today? And why?
For me:
1. Simpson's Hit and Run: hilarious, well designed sandbox game with a brilliant story. It was just great fun to play.
2. Ty the Tasmanian Tiger: Australian themed, this game had nice graphics and well designed levels. I loved having a boomerang as a weapon with different abilities (fire, ice, etc). I just love this game.
3. Pokemon Colloseum: (and XD) totally different to the standard pokemon formula, with proper 3D and an immersive storyline, not starting with a standard grass/fire/water type but an awesome umbreon and espeon. AND all battles were double battles which made battles way more tactical.
In fact, I'm tempted to replay some of these games now! Aaah nostalgia...
