Lucian Grey - The Eternal Mist ? Grim

?And the swordsman!? Lucian interrupted before casting himself from the counter and landing gracefully atop the firm wooden boards that formed the Inn's base.

?It seems like we've established the necessary cast to spin a wonderful tale. The skilful thief with a penchant for explosives, the prodigal, flame wielding mage and the honed sellsword who dances with his blades? Lucian slipped his hands into the pockets, raised his head and stared wistfully towards the ceiling, his thoughts swirling in his mind.

?Which raises the question... Which part do we play in this little escapade? Are we the villains hunting down our prey, sworn by fate to inevitably fail? Are we the heroes chasing down vile foes and bringing them swift justice?? Lucian's eye's locked with the barkeeps, a sly smile creeping across his features.

?Or are we all key players in a story just in the genesis of it's telling??

Scarlett Verneer - Walking around - Grim

Scarlett caught the key in one hand and examined it, the ornate decoration had lost some of its grandeur over the years but the bull and bird symbol engraved on the top was still visible. Scarlett had seen similar keys before but never one bearing this symbol. Symbology was usually a major player in the world of secret keys, and formed a major part of the design, although not all keys where physical objects. Some were made entirely out of magic and carried on the users skin.

?Thanks, I appreciate it.? She smiled warmly. ?I guess then we should get some provisions??

Tobias Belmont (Innkeeper) - The Eternal Mist - Grim

"I believe that we are a mixture of characters, with various degrees of morality. Some fight on the side of justice, others to bring destruction; however, there are also those who muddle in the in-between, constantly fleeting between the two, they, are the most difficult to catch, since they are the most unpredictable. You good sir, and your associate have an important role to play in this tale, though you maybe facing it from the wrong angle, perhaps it is time for a change in beliefs, n'est-ce pas?" Tobias replied to the man's curious quandary, sounding equally as mystified.

"Indeed you are both right, we will need to prepare for eventuality, regardless of the chances of it occurring, there is always something that happens to ruin the most well laden of plans. Those chemistry skills you possess have come in handy, they are better than mine, then again, mine primarily consist of making stuff that goes boom and other stuff that may leave an awful taste in your mouth." Vergil remarked, applauding The Vessel's skills, whilst unintentionally lowering his own.

?We should also get some food, especially food to last through the cold, damp climate of the mountains.? Scarlett looked at the Vessel. ?Why do you ask??

"In terms of wildlife removal what would you recommend? I may be able to create some items as well. There has been a sedative I have been meaning to test on animals, with a little modification, it may prove just as effective as it does on humans." Vergil asked in an enquiring manner.

?I? I have a pendant.? Scarlett looked a little uncomfortable suggesting it but she reached down into her armour and produced a small, battered silver pendent. The lock on it was tiny and she doubted it would serve the Vessel?s needs. ?You won?t destroy it will you??

"Certainly Vessel, one moment." Vergil replied with as he drew out the Assassin's Journal, and started to leaf through the pages on poisons and other toxins. When he arrived on the correct page, he activated Hidden Sight so that he could see the real formula amongst all the fakes, which had been modified due to The Vessel's writing. After a few moment he found the correct one.

"Jackpot!" Vergil thought to himself. "Here you go." He said to Vessel as he handed her the journal, and pointed to her the correct formula.

"That should provide us with a sedative that will render the affected unconscious for roughly eight or so hours, depending on dosage." He remarked.

After hearing the Vessel's stance of the formula, he replied with his own summary.

"Indeed. It seems that the effect of the original formula was that the target would go into an uncontrollable rage, lashing out and attacking everything in a small radius for about 10 to 15 seconds, after that, all motor functions would cease, and the target would die, their mouth foaming."

"It is my understanding that the Yccycceh, sorry, Assassins, used this to create a distraction so that they could position themselves to better strike at their true target. I have been trying to modify it so it merely renders a person unconscious, unfortunately, I have had no luck, so I have kept the original formula intact, just in case someone could correctly alter it."

"I suppose your right, still, at least we have alternatives of which to use. In any case we should probably get moving". Vergil replied to the Vessel as he returned the journal to his coat, and started walking towards the entrance to Mo.

Lorel Ion - Grim

Velen had already got some plans for the travel in case they had to go to the North. ?Well as for wildlife, there isn?t that much in the mountains so we will really need to prepare by having lots of food. If it isn?t too much food, we probably can rent a horse from the guardians to use and carry our food and such while we travel.?

Mosione Squad ? Grim

?So the boss, decided to get us? Took him longer than usual.? Spoke one of the members.

?Shut up, Member Three, let?s just go. We will surround them, and take them out. Should be a simple job.?

In swift movement the squad traveling over the building?s roof tops going towards the unsuspecting travelers.

Vergil was about to reach the Mo entrance, when suddenly, his senses activated. He then looked to the rooftops as he saw a band of soldiers heading towards the group.

"Clever boys, they actually learning. Finally, a decent challenge." Vergil thought to himself as he drew his blades, he then called to the others.

"Look to the skies you lot! Seems like those two guards that escaped sent in some backup, oh boy, is this going to be a good scrap!" He said in a rather manic tone of phrase, then adopted a fighting stance.

Telnor- Roaming Around- Grim

Telnor turned around and drew his sword.

"This should be fun. Everyone should form up and prepare to engage. It looks they have the same amount of people as we do. Lets try to take a few out quickly and then overwhelm the remaining."
