Scarlett Verneer - Around Grim - Grim

Scarlett had ignored the topic of conversation and retreated into her own thoughts while Vergil and the Vessel discussed the chemistry of the journal. Scarlett had been thinking a lot lately, and one topic seemed to haunt her thoughts more than any other. She missed Sera. Not the Sera that lay dead on the floor of the Nelehem estate before she had been consumed by the unreleased magic energy. But the one who had raised her as a child, taught her everything she knew. Scarlett looked down at the ground, a hint of sadness in her face.

You promised me so many things, a life beyond death, and now this world is no longer your concern. Sleep in peace, dearest Sera. I will stand guard to your legacy.

Vergil sounded the alarm. Scarlett cursed herself for been too distracted in her own thoughts and not paying attention to the sounds of the street. Adopting a defensive stance she raised her knife blade to the arriving intruders.

?They will try to flank us, be aware of your surroundings.?

Mosione Squad ? Grim

?So? We got any Intel on these guys??

?Yes. I, Member One, will take on the boy, Lorel Ion. As we?re both Mages. If we?re going to fight them, minds as well make it interesting. Member Two, you take on Velen Majl, both you and him are swordsmen so make it a good duel. Member Three, you take on the thief that apparently is with them, use your daggers and rip him apart. Member Four, take on the harp player, she should be an easy kill as long as you dodge her attacks, just use your bit of magic to kill. Member Five, I believe they said there was another woman with them, she uses a knife, beat her with your bow. Member Six, there is another man with a sword, we don?t know if he is as skilled so take him on with your long sword. Lastly Member Seven? You might need to sit this out. There was only six reported at the time.?

Member Seven laughed in her high pitch voice. ?Then I guess I will sit this one out.?
As they got to the building next to the group they looked down. ?Hey, One, they got a seventh one? It?s Itsuka Maen? Traitor. I take her on??

?Do that, watch out for her Red Magic.?

All together then jumped down and surrounded the group of people, standing in front of each one they were to fight.

Lorel Ion - Grim

They appeared in seconds after Vergil spoke, they wore black leather armor and all of their faces were covered with white masks with the symbol of Risenforth, a red Eagle flying upwards, on their masks. Black slits were their eyes were. Without any talk they attacked.

The one in front of Lorel jumped at him with his hands shrouded in lighting and then blasted them at Lorel, but Lorel brought up an Ice wall. As the blasts hit the wall it shattered it, letting out a cold mist and Lorel jumped out of the way and the man jumped and turned midair and conjured a multiple large rocks and sent them flying at Lorel. He dodged one and then another but just as he moved, one slammed him right in the stomach and sent him flying. Lorel used his fire magic and lit the magic rock on fire and then used the small amount of wind magic he knew to lift it then toss it at the man but he easily broke it into dust.

?Interesting tactic, too bad it wasn?t very effective.? The man joked.

Velen ? Grim

The rain continued to fall, and as the man attacked with his large sword multiple drops were sliced in half. Despite the swords overwhelming size, the man moved it as if a children?s toy. Their blades clashed and sparks flew at each of them. In an instant the man jumped out of the way of Velen?s attack and then spun in a blur and Velen went into a defensive position with his swords crossed. Both their swords struck and the man was stopped but then kicked Velen?s leg dropped him to the ground. As he went down the man brought up his sword and then brought it down, but Velen put his sword up and stopped his.

Now they were in a lock. ?Velen Majl? Heard you were good swordsman. Good to be crossing swords with you. I am Member Two.? The man spoke in an almost cheery voice.

Itsuka Maen ? Grim.

Itsuka brought out her Red Mist immediately as the battle begun in hope of killing her opponent quick without having to use much energy and then be able to help the rest. But the masked person casted a non-elemental shield around her and rendered the Red Mist ineffective. ?Damn.? Itsuka spoke under her breath.

She clapped her hands and brought up a gust of wind and then mixed it with her lighting magic to combine them to form a cloud of electricity and then threw it at the girl. Who stretched her arms out and broke up the cloud leaving the middle of it, empty. In a blur she ran in the center and punched Itsuka in the face, which then grabbed the arm of the mage and then began to charge electricity through her.

?Ha!? She spoke as she used her own electric magic to send it through her and outwards.
Itsuka moved away from the girl and began to cast more spells.

Vergil Crawford - Roaming Around - Grim

Vergil and the group were surrounded by a group of seven soldiers, each clad in black leather armour and bore the red eagle of the Risenforth Court on their white masks. One in particular caught Vergil's attention, judging by posture, it was a woman underneath that clothing, she wielded a pair of daggers.

The masked woman pointed one of her daggers at Vergil, and then made the gesture of killing him.

"Please, you honestly think that those puny daggers can match my blades. Do you think you can beat the master thief, Vergil Crawford!" Vergil remarked to the woman, despite being masked, Vergil could sense the rage that emanated from her as she charged directly at him.

Vergil quickly blocked her first blade with his katana, whilst the second with his wrist blade.

"Ah yes, Vergil Crawford, you were responsible for stealing the jewels of three Noble families six years ago, all in one night they say, how did you do it?" The woman responded to Vergil, obviously hearing about his escapades.

"You know what they say about me, I'm more than I appear." Vergil quickly retorted, deflecting her blades, but was blocked by an attack.

"Your skills would have been very much in use, if you were on our side. In any case, I am Member Three, I shall be your death this day." She then laughed more in the style of a Noble than a soldier after she finished.

"I very much doubt it. Oh, Member Three, think fast." Vergil replied, after which he tossed a Flash Bomb, blinding her briefly, but not long enough time to kill her. He quickly tossed a throwing knife, but she was able to block it. The two then clashed once more, but this time he used both his katanas to block the strikes.

Vergil Crawford/Member Three (Mosione Squad) - Roaming Around - Grim

As the two traded attacks, Vergil and Member Three talked to one another.

"It seems that we are both comparatively equal in terms of speed and skill. However, we are much more suited to fighting in a clear space. May I propose to continue this duel on the rooftops?" Vergil asked her.

"Your right, our styles are more suited to open spaces than in close quarters. Besides, I prefer to fight my opponents on my own, rather than amongst the rabble. Consider it accepted." Member Three replied with. The two of them then began to climb the nearest building, every so often trading swipes at one another.

Vergil beat her to the roof, but he could see that her right hand had slipped on the final stone, and her left wasn't going to hold out much longer. Vergil decided to give her a hand up.

"Why would you do such a thing?" Member Three asked Vergil as she scaled the roof. "Wouldn't it be easier to let me fall."

"I don't like to see a woman in distress, plus it would have given me an unfair advantage. I prefer to play on equal terms." He replied with, sounding both suave and sorry for her at the same time.

"Cute." Member Three replied, after which came a slight giggle. "Anyway, en garde!" Member Three called, drew her short-sword, and charged at Vergil, he quickly dodged both swipes. He then tried to sweep her legs, but she quickly sidestepped out of the way. In a few short moments, the pair entered another sword lock. Vergil then asked a seemingly random question.

"How do you know who I was?"
"Come off it Vergil, don't you recognise me?"
"Apparently I don't, so who just are you?"
"I guess now is as good a time as any." Member Three replied with. The pair of them sheathed their weapons, as Three removed her mask.

"You!" Vergil exclaimed, stunned by who wore that mask.

Yuriko Takahashi, 26 years old, two years younger than Vergil himself, and of a similar height. Dark red hair that ran past the shoulders, and violet coloured eyes. She was a mercenary thief that Vergil had encountered numerous times before in the past. The two had become close as it were, they had planned to be together, unfortunately, duty called, and the pair hadn't seen each other until now.

"My my, it seems that The Poisoned Rose has finally blossomed, you look, as beautiful as ever." Vergil remarked as he stared into those eyes of hers.
"Time has been kind to you as well, Shade Walker." Yuriko replied with, blushing slightly.
"How did you end up with these lot? Your better than them, I should know." Vergil politely asked.

"Well, after our breakup in Dejoran, I ran into some trouble, lets just say a job went bad, and I ended up in jail. Since they knew we had worked together, they thought you was with me, probably wanted to catch both of us at the same time. After a few weeks, we had worked out a deal, they would wipe my slate clean, in return, I had to work for Mosione Squad, as they needed someone with our skills." Yuriko replied with, sounding unhappy with her response.

"I suppose when your back is against the wall, you have to take the first road that you come to. Anyway, we shouldn't be talking about this." Vergil remarked, quickly changing from playful to serious.

"Your right, back to killing each other I suppose." Yuriko added, sounding sad at the prospect, she then put her mask back on, and the two continued their duel.

Telnor- Entrance to Mo- Grim

Telnor barely got his sword up in time as his opponent attacked. Sparks flew as the two swords clashed. Telnor dug his heels and started to push his opponent back. The attacker disengaged his sword and jumped back. Both men stared at each other with their swords pointed at the ground. Slowly they began to circle each other.

Telnor quickly stepped forward and swung his sword at his opponents left side. The squad member raised his sword and knocked Telnor's sword away. Pressing the attack the masked man swung at Telnor's head. Telnor sidestepped and stabbed at the masked man. The masked man jumped back, barely dodging the attack. Telnor continued the momentum of his attack and charged with sword pointed at his opponent's gut. His attacker jumped quickly to the side and clothes lined Telnor. Telnor hit the ground, winded. The masked man stepped on Telnor's neck and pointed his sword at Telnor's face.

Scarlett Verneer - Around Grim - Grim

Scarlett was sprinting through the falling rain, her target had dropped from the roof the moment he realised she was heading right in his direction and took aim with a single arrow. To Scarlett the world around her was quiet hum, she had focused her gift solely on member number five and could hear every little noise he made. From the sound of his controlled breathing to the groaning squeak of the bowstring as he drew it back.

As she heard the deep inhalation of air rushing into the mans lungs Scarlett dropped to her knees and slid across the wet ground. He let the arrow go to early, panicked by her sudden movement, and it cut through the air above her before hitting a stone wall and dropping harmlessly to the ground. Flicking her wrist Scarlett let a small throwing blade loose and it spun through the bowstring, snapping it clean into two, before embedding itself in the mans right arm. He emitted a loud yelp as the flailing bowstring snapped back and hit him in the cheek. Scarlett jumped to her feet and launched herself aiming for a blow to the head but the man moved quickly and swung the bow up catching her in the stomach and sending Scarlett rolling across the ground.

Lorel Ion - Grim

More spells flew through the air, erupting in waves of earth, fire, ice, and lighting. Lorel jumped away from the man, and dug his feet into the ground and then morphed fire in his hand and then created a fire storm surrounding him and then once it was large enough, he pushed it at the man who couldn?t dodge it but got swept into the flames. But as he swirled in them, and made a thin layer rock and stopped his skin from coming into contact with the flames. Member one then the stepped out of the fire tornado and it depleted.

How can I beat him? He is clearly above me?

Using his magic with tremendous amounts of energy he froze some of the droplets of rain surrounding him and then stuck the man whose Earth armor shattered and blades of ice ripped into his skin. A little bit of blood ran down his armor and out of his mouth. He looked at the ice blades and then ripped them out one by one.

?Are you part of Risenforth?? Asked Lorel.

?Who else? But while on the topic, I mind as well introduce myself. I am Varksin Hoehsan, an Advanced Tier Nine Mage and you? Lorel Ion??

?Advanced Tier Five.?

He laughed as he took the last Ice Blade out. ?Well then. This will surely be an interesting fight. Let?s both go all out then? Shall we??

Velen ? Grim

?Well Member Two, may I inquire your name?? Velen spoke as he started to stand up and become on equal footing but continuing to be in a lock. The man took off his mask with one hand but the strength he was using for his sword was still immense. Member Two was younger then he was, but already had many battle scars all over his face, and was missing his left eye.

?Battle wounds. I am the Elite Swordsman of the Goeu?sia Style, who specializes in large blades. You may call me Enaris.?

?Well then, let?s continue this duel.? Velen spoke as he broke the lock and rolled to his left and then jumped back at him but his blades coming from below. Enaris dropped to the ground and blocked the attack and then broke their new lock and jumped away.

Velen didn?t go for another attack, rather he would let Enaris come to him and then strike him with one blow and finish the fight. Enaris put back his mask on and ran at Velen and just as he was about to stab Velen, Velen side-stepped and then slashed Enaris in the side, and blood flew out on both men.

?And that?s it?? Velen spoke confident that he had won but then laughter came from behind.

?Velen Majl? I am disappointed that you believe that you would have won from that? This wound maybe deep, but I am quick healer. One of my abilities. Quite lucky that I became a swordsman with it. Just another battle wound.?

Vergil Crawford/Yuriko Takahashi - Roaming Around - Grim

"Yuriko! Why is it that you and the rest of Mosione Squadron are fighting me and the others? We both know your after Lorel and Velen, why don't you just focus on them?" Vergil called to her between parries. It was then that she delivered a swift kick to Vergil's stomach, sending him crashing into a chimney. Yuriko then started to walk towards him, talking as she did.

"Unfortunately my dear, that little stunt you and your friends pulled off over at The Eternal Mist cost quite a few lives, and when we heard the news, the Risenforth Court decided to send in the best to deal with you."

"Fair enough I suppose, if we were going to fall, it might as well have been from the best the Elite Class had to offer. Go ahead then, kill me." He replied to her with a grim smile on his face.

"If you insist." Yuriko remarked, she then removed her mask. "Better to see the face of your executioner, isn't it?" Yuriko was about to stab Vergil in the heart, but at the last moment, she relented tossing her blade to the side. "I can't do it! Not after everything we went through all those years ago." She then started to cry, her tears adding to the rainfall. Vergil decided to embrace her.

"There there Rose, its okay, one day, it will all be over. Remember, you have to let your feelings for me go, your leader will think you've gone soft. But of course, he doesn't know of our past."

"Your right, my feelings for you can't let me get in the way of my mission." Yuriko replied with, wiping the tears from her eyes, and breaking the embrace. She then raised her dagger once more, and rested the tip on his heart. Without her noticing, he triggered his wrist blade, and pushed the dagger away, straight out of Yuriko's hand. He then whispered something into her ear.

"Now you see why they call me the Trickster." Vergil then pushed Yuriko away with his foot, sending her backwards, allowing him to stand up.

"Lesson One: Always keep your eyes on your opponent's movements, you never know if they will have something up their sleeve." Vergil gave a slight chuckle after he made this statement. He proceeded to give Yuriko a hand, she used this as a moment to strike. She went to swing, but Vergil sensed this, and gently threw her over the roof, Yuriko landed on the roof of a market stall.

Vergil proceeded to leap from the rooftop, landing amongst the battle. After Yuriko got herself down, the pair of them carried on.

"You know I only planted that thought in your head so that your superior would think you hadn't faltered." Vergil remarked, showing concern.

"I know." Yuriko quickly replied with, ending in a smile, signalling that she knew his plan. Once more they were amongst the crowd of fighters.

"Clever girl." Vergil thought to himself briefly, he then remembered Yuriko's mask.

"You'll need this." Vergil said to Yuriko, tossing her mask back. She then quickly put it back on, as the pair started swinging at each other again.

Vincent - Eternal Mist - Grim

"So then how about you tell us the whereabouts of this thief and his associates, I'm sure we could convince him to return our lost trinkets?" Vincent said, still looking over at the crackling pyre of burned corpses, the flames rising up a good three feet above the top few logs. It was a sight that would have most vomiting, but Vincent had grown accustomed to sights such as this.

"Besides, can you really say that the mage who did this to these people shouldn't be held accountable for his actions?"

Tobias Belmont (Innkeeper) - The Eternal Mist - Grim

"Should the Mage be held accountable for his actions if he was trying to defend himself? Doesn't it justify the use of his abilities, if meant him saving his life?" He then pointed a finger of accusation towards them.

"I ask you, in all the Mages that the pair of you have hunted over the years, can you honestly say that one of them has just surrendered themselves to you freely?" The lack of a response prompted him to continue.

"Hmm, I thought so, they have tried to defend themselves, regardless of what magical talents they possess, they have tried to survive. The act of you attacking them is justification enough for them to use their abilities. The words you speak are an act of hypocrisy in of itself."

"But of course, my words are meaningless to you, your perceptions of Mages are very much a black and white affair. You are so blinded by the teachings that the Mage Hunters give, you cannot see the difference between those Mages who try to help, and those Mages who seek destruction. To you, all Mages should be put to the torch, perhaps it is time for a reality check." Tobias replied to the man, whilst his words resonated with anger, he remained calm.

"Furthermore, if you hope to live past this series of bloody events, I suggest you change allegiances rather quickly, for when the dawn breaks, and the conflict is over, you won't have much support."

"In any case, I don't think that Vergil would have kept them, it is likely that he has sold them on to his employer as part of the contract. Who his employer is, that I cannot say, he did not speak of them to me. But should you still desire to look for him, he went to the North Section, and has most likely gone via Mo." He further added.

"Now, my fee, information doesn't come freely these days."

Lucian Grey - The Eternal Mist ? Grim
Vincent ? The Eternal Mist - Grim

The lone innkeepers words echoed throughout the boarded chamber, carried across those winds of burning flesh and spilled blood. This simple ale vendor carried himself in a way unlike any other, his words passionate and fuelled with his discontent but calm and professional enough to come off as wise. While Lucian had come to find his musing with the barkeep an amusing endeavour, the same could not be said for his partner who slowly dropped his hand to the pommel of the great black blade hanging from his side.

Vincent's glare, masked behind snow white strands of hair and the shadowy cowl of his hood, sharpened with each of the strangers taunts. Vincent's mind was a thing of mystery, even to him, but he had always held one certainty for as far back as he could remember, he was a Mage Hunter. He was taken in by, fed by, trained by and even mended by the Hunters, through their embrace they had made him everything he could possibly hope to be; strong, cold, agile and ruthless. To have some faded figure of a man, bring his goals, the Hunter's goals, into question and spit on their very name was an insult he could not accept. Beneath the folds of his coarse black cloak, his fingers crept, like a spider, down the stem of his blade, coiling around the hilt readying to strike.

Lucian merely observed as the situation slowly, and subtly, unfolded before his golden eyes. His partner's fury was swelling just underneath the skin, the rage driving drawing them closer to a conflict he had hoped to avoid. However, Grey was no fool; with one eye on his companion and the other on the innkeeper he could see just what was about to happen. This man they were dealing with held no fears of death, this was a figure who had seen both grand and horrible things and lived to tell the tale. Things were about to get interesting.

?Of course, your fee; 500 was it not? I believe I have just enough to cover tha-? Lucian's idle words were cut short by the flicker of a midnight razor flying freely from the sheath just below the guise of his comrades cloak.

Vincent's hatred took hold and in the splinter of a second, the shadow-hue steel sword flew freely from the blackened leather sheath and arced towards the wrinkled exposed flesh of the blasphemers throat. Time seemed to slow as the edge drew closer to the target, the black a sharp contrast to that pale leathery skin; inch by inch death crept towards the those placid eye's of the fearless barkeep.

The clash of metal bounced off the mundane wooden walls of The Eternal Mist, Vincent's blade bounced off a pair of black kukri blades grasped firmly tightly in Lucian's fingers. The parry reflecting his partners assault from slicing the innkeepers head from his shoulder.

?Stay yourself, V. He's given us what we needed.? Lucian tried to remain as upbeat as the situation allowed, minimizing conflicts being the primary coal at this point.

?Please forgive us... What was your name?? Lucian chirped as he emptied the last few coins he had on the counter, roughly 600 in coins in the hopes that the extra 100 would prevent the innkeeper from saying anything to antagonise his 'friend' any further.

Tobias Belmont (Innkeeper) - The Eternal Mist - Grim

"Your wise to listen to your friend, V, I have given what you seek. As for my name, it is Tobias Belmont, former mercenary, but I doubt that my name is remembered, my time was long ago. As you've seen my words can cut as deep as any blade, but can be much more effective." Tobias replied with coldly.

"I would hurry if I was you, the people that you seek are in a duel of opposites, and your assistance would prove most beneficial. For they could win by strength of numbers, not by strength of blade, as you are so keen to demonstrate." Tobias added sarcastically as he pushed the tip of V's blade away with his finger, a slight smile forming.

Lucian Grey - The Eternal Mist - Grim

"Well, thank you for this wonderful lesson, Tobias. I believe we will be taking our leave now." Lucian chimed in with his usual jovial tune. Despite his apparent cheerful demeanour, Lucian still gripped his blades loosely in the palms of his hands, readied should his partner find an opportune moment to strike again. The kukri daggers were black as sin, a marking of their Haladium forging, with an edge that curved foreword; a design foreign to most outside of the Southern Sectors.

"V, I suggest you save that bloodlust for someone more worthy, If this man's words ring true; we may have some powerful enemies along this journey." Lucian added, his gaze cast towards his partners eyes. Grey looked beyond the strands of snow and watched the fury die, replaced by a cringe of disdain. A minute of silence passed before all weapons were sheathed and they bid their informant farewell.

"You should have let me kill him, saved us some coin for the trip up North."

"If we're going to the North, you will need to learn to stay your blade for those who speak ill of the Hunters"

"Where did you get those blades anyway?"

"These? I nicked them from the vault when no one was looking, I think they might be pure haladium."

The two chuckled, sharing a brief reprieve from the conflict before mounting their beasts and riding towards the most direct path to the district of Mo

Scarlett Verneer - Around Grim - Grim

Scarlett landed awkwardly and rolled across the rain soaked street. She felt the sting of bruised flesh but thankfully, nothing more. Relieved her injuries had been minor she took a moment to catch her breath and lay on her back looking up at the stormy sky. The rain splashing down on her face felt good and for a brief second Scarlett closed her eyes, collected her thoughts, and concentrated her gift on the man attacking her.

Caius Valentine, member number five of the Mosione Squad, looked down at the broken bow in his hands and snorted a dismissive response. Discarding it he raised his gaze to Scarlett Verneer and realised what she was doing. Although Scarlett looked vulnerable on the ground he knew all too well that she was using her special gift of sound to track his every movement, a lesser warrior would charge straight in believing they held the advantage but Caius knew better than that.

?Enough Scarlett Verneer.?

Scarlett snapped open her eyes at the mention of her name and rolled onto her front. The man was walking a slow pace towards her and raising his right hand to the Risenforth mask on his face, removed it. The smiling face beneath the mop of ear length blond hair, pushed right back behind the ears, was instantly recognisable to her as an old Red Stain friend.

?Caius Valentine? I didn?t figure you for a puppet of the Risenforth Court.?

?No? Hmph. Neither did I come to think of it but it was an offer I just couldn?t refuse. You know how much I like money.? Caius held out his hands apologetically and widened his smile. ?And besides you don?t really think I died do you? Come on Scarlett, your much smarter than that.?

?I just didn?t care.?

?Ouch! Cold. Glad to see your still the same venerable ice queen as always.?

?What do you want??

?A few words with an old friend before I remove them from this world. Is that too much to ask??

?Yes!?

?Ha! Tell me Scarlett do you still sleep with that knife under your pillow? Or do you trust? these people? enough to sleep properly? You where always the funny girl Scarlett, never told the truth, never wanted to be anyones friend, always killing people who knew who you where. Makes for a very unsociable attitude I can tell you.?

?Does this have a point??

?Yes. I?m getting there. So, I fake my death and move on to greener pastures and meanwhile you become this? thing? this legend among the Red Stain. The great assassin. Sera?s apprentice taking her crown. And what do you do? You kill them. You kill. My friends. Because they knew who you where.?

?You where dead why should you care??

?They where still my friends Scarlett! The people I had grown up with, loved as brothers and sisters, some even more than that, just because I had moved on with life doesn?t mean I had forgotten them. When they told me who I was to kill I couldn?t believe my luck. But we will do this properly. Just like the old days.?

Caius removed his knife belt and raised his hands in challenge, Scarlett stood up in front of him and tossed away her knife. Caius immediately moved in close with a right hook.

Vergil Crawford - Battle At Mo Entrance - Grim

Vergil had returned one of his katanas to his belt as he block a flurry of strikes from Yuriko. He tried to swing at her chest with his other katana, but she leapt over both him and the blade, landing behind Vergil.

Yuriko then tried an overhead swing, but Vergil quickly repositioned himself so he could the block the attack. He somehow managed to block the oncoming attack, by breaking a unnoticeable crack in Yuriko's short sword, which caused her blade to shatter into pieces, leaving her with only the handle and a small fragment of the blade.

Noticing that her blade shatter before her eyes, Yuriko leapt at Vergil, knocking him and her to the floor. The two engaged in a brief fist fight, talking as they attacked.

"Why don't you with me and the other guys that I'm travelling with? You'd be a useful member of the group." Vergil asked Yuriko.

"Sorry Vergil, I am contractually obligated to remain with the Court, until such time that I am no longer required. If it was a different time, then maybe I would have said yes." Yuriko replied with, sounding both unhappy, yet joyful.

"Well then, I guess I have to use this." Vergil remarked as he detonated a smoke bomb, causing Yuriko to relent her attacks. Amidst the cloud of smoke, Vergil escaped, and went to help one of the others. He soon came across The Vessel.

"What happened to your foot?" He enquired, noticing that her right foot was trapped in ice.
