Vergil Crawford - The Dean's Mansion - Tinsdal
After Vergil had finished a few of his pancakes, he sat back and took a another sip of tea.
"
Mmm, delightful." Vergil thought as he set the cup down. He turned to see that Telnor was eating his breakfast, and had just asked for more.
"Steady on Telnor, we are in no rush. Just take your time, you don't want that ravenous appetite of yours causing you trouble later." Vergil smirked, after which he laughed briefly at his hungry friend. He soon returned to his pancakes.
Meanwhile... Lady Fiora De La Croix - Dean's Mansion - Tinsdal
It was the morning when Fiora woke up to the sound of birdsong from her window.
"
It's today, the day that he finds out." Fiora said to herself, still sounding half asleep. There was soon a knock at the door.
"Miss Fiora, your breakfast has arrived on time." A voice announced from the other side.
"
Won't be a minute, thank you Dalton." Fiora replied with as she hurriedly got out of the bed, and put on a dressing gown, as she was indecently clothed for this time of day. She soon opened the door, to a man in a respectable suit.
"Here you are Miss, your coffee, your breakfast of toast, some various jams, and some eggs." Dalton called as he passed her the tray of food.
"Oh, and before I forget, your morning paper Miss." Dalton added, then proceeded to leave. Fiora closed the door as soon as he left. She sat down at her desk, and proceeded to drink her coffee whilst reading through the paper. There was a big headline in bold letters on one of the pages that read:
TRAIL GOES COLD TO FIND THE CULPRITS OF THE NEHELEM ESTATE MASSACRE!
"Typical." Fiora muttered as she finished her coffee and proceeded to apply some strawberry jam to her toast, then took a bite out of it.
"The city watch in the Middle Section is rather ineffective when dealing with these matters, if it happened here in the North, The D.I.N would of found the culprit rather quickly. Then again, those Nobles down there might be covering this up, to avoid certain transgressions." She thought in a rather negative light. Another headline caught her attention:
ION FAMILY BETRAYS MIDDLE SECTION NOBLES, FAMILY MASSACRED, Ana'sha FAMILY EXPECTED TO REPLACE THEM!
"
Well well well, Lord Noyis's wife has always had a soft spot for the Nobles of the Middle. It wouldn't surprise me if she took this up without a second thought. What's this about Ion family massacred? Could of sworn I overheard the house staff saying that young Lorel was here, and of course, there is Miss Mizuki. But its likely that foolish child of the Fo'el family, Amelia has dissolved Lorel's claim, and she probably doesn't even know of Miss Mizuki's existence. Well done eleven years ago... " Fiora remarked as she continued with her breakfast.
