Extended Skyrim demo! (13 minutes long)

Looks good. I can't wait for this game.

I wanted to make a comment on the combat. Think about this for a second. The character they are using is a Demo Character. A character they used in their trailers and one to use for their demo at E3. I bet they have even been using him while testing the game.

So it may be possible that the character is a er higher level. This is just my assumption. Don't quote me on exactness of my statement. I'm just saying. Or they played on the easiest setting just so they could show off the game.

Either way 11/11/2011 I'm going to get this game. And there is Thanksgiving holiday. So yall know what I'm going to do.

Actually you can see he is a lvp 34 dude with 500 magica and stamina and 999 Hp so yeah, it's done to simply showcase the game, I don't think anyone here enjoyed the low difficulty aspect of the trailer. It's not even an issue at this point for most folks.

Also, I seriously doubt they just leveled the guy by showcasing him in trailers and stuff. They can just go in the game and set it to whatever level they want to for a demonstration build like this one.

Very true. Point I was trying to make is that the low quality on the combat is because they want to showcase the game.

edit: Once again I'd like to mention the snow. The snow is beautiful.

I can honestly say I have never felt more hyped for a game before. I know I'm going to be a mage just so that I can see those cool spells all the time

One thing I noticed is that it looks less gritty and more animated which isn't really bad but I couldn't help noticing it.

I'll forgive you, because this is just so beautiful. The rendering distance, radiant story, unlimited choice of gameplay style, ability to change said gameplay style at will instead of forcing you to redo the tutorial to reroll your character. The art style is beautiful. The dungeons seem to look more like actual dungeons instead of a choppy, copied and pasted game level, and they look huge! They look like they've incorporated the radiant lighting which was a mod for Oblivion! Subtle touch but it makes a huge difference. That water animation in the dungeons looks really good, and just adds to a natural, believable atmosphere. Randomised events and AI! AWESOME!

The only thing I dislike so far is the menus and the fonts. Although that perks as constellations thing really appeals to me for some reason.

I already saw about 10 minutes of this demo on youtube earlier today, but hell, it's nice seeing it again. Looks extremely good.
