Mine appear brown from a distance (my husband even proposed to me referencing my brown eyes) but they're actually dark blue.

The conversation is always the same:
"You have brown eyes."
"No, they're blue."

I have central heterochromia. My eyes are blue, with a yellow ring around the pupil.

They have a dark blue, almost black circle around the iris, with a dappled blue switching between dark and light between the circle and the ring.
The seem to have the dark as the base, with lighter lines connecting the ring and base to each other. I also have extremely long, rather dark eyelashes. I'd post a picture, but I lack a camera and my phone can't connect to my computer, sadly.

I have a similar eyes, though I didn't know there was a name for it. Light blue with a yellow ring around the inside.

No, I'm not being emo, but they are so dark brown they might as well be.

I'm the same way. Apparently it freaks some people out because they can't see my pupils. So people assume I'm either high or my that my soul is a dark void.

Maybe it's that weird greeny-blue of the sea, like in the photos of those magic holiday islands most of us will never be able to visit?
