icy blue but sometimes they appear green, 'caus of the light.

had this discussion a few months ago with a friend of mine who studies genetics.
over half the worlds population has brown eyes (think she said 54-57%)
the remainder is split between yellow(includes amber), green, blue, grey and hazel. green being the least common.

black, violet and red is not counted due to them being caused by albinism and a few other genetic abnormality's instead of being inherited. (technically "red"eyes are not red, they have no color at all and the red comes from the blood vessels in the eyes)

I'm interested in how many people have said they have rings around their eyes. I think I remember somewhere that can be an indicator that your body is building up heavy metals. (I wonder how many hypochondriacs are on this board... LOL)

As for me, light blue.
That's worrying, since going by my old picture collection it means I've been building up heavy metals since I was 6 months old..................... There's gotta be a forge operating in there by now............

Depending on the amount of light in the room and my distance from a mirror the colours of my eyes varies between light blue and green.

Usually, my eyes are brown, but it has been acknowledged by friends that they turn green on occasion. It's just a random occurrence, so I never know when it happens, but I can't spend 24 straight hours looking into a mirror to find out.
