Eyes. The portal to the soul. The teller of all truths. The windows to emotions.

All of us here have at least one of these things, probably two.

But, I'm dancing around the issue. The fact is... I love eyes. More then I probably should. I'm utterly fascinated by them (In an aesthetic fashion). It's just the patterns and colors get me every time.

I'm curious, does anyone else share my fascination? Or perhaps the same thing for a different body part (Not sexually)? And if you feel like it, post one of your peepers!

I also love my eyes. They're grey, though most of the time look blue due to the light or some shit. In fact, they look exactly like yours only grayer if that makes any sense.

I always look at someone's eyes when I frst look at them, usually before they see me. There's alot that can be seen and told by ungaurded eyes. Thats why I never make eye contact before I have to.

As for my eyes? My eyes are oka, the average brown. Though I like my friend Ryan's eyes. One's almost jet black (even the white) and the other is white except for the pupil. His eyes have always been messed up, cause he can see in slow motion (not too slow, but sloer then the average person). But he also sees in a bloom affect, and all colours are really pale and dull. Plus his eyes are overly sensitve, so he has to wear shades and glasses.

Still, he's pretty cool. He's a great goalie because of it.

I also used to date a girl (well... date's not a good word. We hung around alot and no one really asked either of us out because of it, but we werent really dating) who had these rose-purple coloured eyes.

Eye see what you did there.

OT: I enjoy eyes. They come in a wide variety and are unique in every way, depending on the person. I especially like deep blue eyes, they're very calming to me.

I've always thought eyebrows were more important in expressiveness than the eyes themselves, and are more important in gauging someone's emotions. My eyes are sort of a flat grey color, they pretty much pick up whatever lighting is around. My eyebrow is naturally really thick and bushy. Thankfully we have ways of cutting and plucking, so I can make them look socially acceptable. Certainly a lot easier than growing them.

More Macro:
Edit: Now I want to go pluck all those stray hairs out. -_-

Very pretty.

I like the tiny splash of brown over the somewhat flat, even color.

Nice piercing, by the way. Can't describe why, but it just makes that corner of your face look that much prettier.

When people refer to the eyes as 'windows to the soul,' they're usually referring to the eye, the eye socket, and the brow.

As for your eyebrows, the look a bit TOO trimmed to me. You should let'em get a bit longer.

Yes, eyes are cool. Off topic, what do you think the coolest natural eye colour is. I am firmly in camp green.

Never heard of him, but yeah, kinda. His iris isnt as gray though, and its a very subtle change from the white. Likewise, in the right eye (on my friend ryan thats the one thats black) there's a small ring of what around the iris/pupil (both are jet black) and the jet black portion of where his eye should be white. SO its not as much of a solid black, but with some breakage and separation.

Don;t know what your talking about. Are you referring to changes in eye color?

This is due to the fact that the vast majority of people have, at the least, two toned eyes. When the light changes, eye color may 'change' due to which color is more prominent.

If you're referring to the ability to detect motion in the eyes, well... duh.

Nope, expressions. It's pretty cool to think about. The eyeballs never change...ever. And you can communicate so many different things with your eyes. Even animals use their eyes to communicate and it's not even the eyes that are doing it, it's the muscles around them.
Yah, that's what I meant.

Stupid fingers.
