Whelp, I don't see why not. It sure feels more believable than Darth Vader...

Well, the whole timeline does take place in the 1500's and the VERY early 1600's.
Its very well possible.

Why the hell did they keep Casandra in if they wanted more interesting characters? As long as Raphael is in it, I guess I'll buy it.

Is that Hawke from Dragon Age II on the bottom left?
I think that's Mitsurugi, though at the angle and framing I do see the resemblance.

This kind of doesn't make sense because he's an assassin...he's not supposed to be seen. But, can be cool.

I think you may have quoted the wrong person. Go up one.

Better than the goddamn Jedi. Still, while I'm not necessarily offended by this, I'm not particularly inspired by it, either.

Makes perfect sense. He's a close ranged, multi faceted fighter with great agility, from what I've heard of SC5 it's a perfect match. I'm not sure I'll be getting it, but could be fun if I do.

Wouldn't be the first time that characters unrelated to soul caliber were featured in a soul caliber game. Link, Tekken, Spawn, a bunch of Star Wars peeps for some reason... at least Ezio makes some kind of sense. On his way to Constantinople he runs into Asteroth!

Meanwhile, Desmund in the animus is all like "WTF just happened?"

Yay more shit cross over characters that will either be shit or a tad unbalanced as they have never ever been used before. I can't wait.

Can they actually include real new things that will stick and not these pointless cameos. New characters and playstyles aren't good when they will only exist for 1 game. Until this is confirmed I won't be too annoyed.

theres a few issues with that picture, but it looks pretty legit... id still wait for an official reveal though.

if you liked them so much, what was wrong with SCIV?
im sure youll still be able to play it.

i dont get people's reactions to this game.
They want everything to remain the same, and complain that things dont change enough.
People cant stand to see the game evolve, with new characters and styles, but complain that its going stale.

Could be, it's probably a fake though. He's a good fit, I wouldn't put it past Namco. Still, personally I think the series has been going downhill since SCII and I've never played Assassin's Creed, so I'm not going to jump at buying it if he is included like I did for Phoenix Wright in UMvC3.

*double-checks Soul Calibur timescale*

Let's see... Siegfried was born in 1568, his official age in Soul Calibur 5 is 40, so the timeframe of said game would be around 1608.

...Yeah, sounds about right. :)
