TF2 when there's a Pyro who sees through my Dead Ringer every single damn time and chases me halfway across the map...

Backstabbing's too good for those assholes

Also when i underestimate the turning speed of a sentry one too many times, which happens almost every game

I suppose Persona 3 The Answer should be on this list too, simply because i have to go through one dungeon once then have to save and stop because of the bullshit enemies and unchangeable difficulty (which is set to "fuck you")

And Atlus you know the Social Link system was a really good at stopping lvl grinding right? Then why is it not in The Answer?!

At this point i don't even care if it's explained in the story i'll be on the third dungeon forever at this rate

I nearly rage quit over final fantasy X
oh yeah, I still have that I never finished... I forget where. I think the thing you have to fight on the top of the flying craft
Seriously? I think that's were I quit too. I think we're talking about the same place. It was fight after fight without saving and I can't get to the point where you stop Yuna from marrying Seymour (I think that's what was happening...) without getting hit by cheap shot and losing my party...
I think the biggest cheap shot of that section (thank my desire to scan everything) is those kicker robots who, if you kill everything but them, will kick your party members off the screen. As for Evrae, the flying thing, if you can avoid poison breath you can defeat it easily, if you can't avoid that make sure Rikku has high HP, her Al Bhed potions cure poison on the entire party.
Yeah, those fraking toasters! It's all coming back to me...
If you need more help let me know, I made it to a mountain later in the game whose name I'm not revealing yet, suffice to say it's a good number of hours from where you are.

BATMAN:ARKHAM ASYLUM almost made me this mad.

Yeah, you're reading this right. B:AA In my Steam PC version theres a glitch in a sequence with Harley Quinn, and two guards suspended over electrified water. When you cut down the second guard its possible for the game logic to glitch and your controls become unresponsive because the game is trying to show you a cutscene. But because of the glitch, the cutscene doesn't play, and the timer keeps counting down and you die. I finally figured out that the way to beat the glitch was to stand at - or very close to - where the game wants you to be when it tries to run the cutscene. PLUS all the damn Riddler trophies that you actually have to go back to the starting locations to find, effectively making you play the game twice as long as necessary. Well, I was very close to firing it into the sun.

But I didn't, because THAT game was Crysis.
I ... fell through the aircraft carrier? No, fuck *you* game.

And Titan Quest was another one.
If you die you can put yourself back at certain checkpoints, but all the baddies behind that checkpoint respawned?? So now my progress counts for nothing and I have to kill everything all over again - and probably die again? Oh no I won't. *Uninstall* this, game.

in Bioshock where you have to get through a door to the art curator guy on the other side, and I think it might've been a bug, but I couldn't get through to the other side. No idea what I was meant to do.!
Also: I'm not at all sure what Curator you're talking about in Bioshock, so I don't think I got through that door either. Funny thing is, I think I heard it open behind me. So either its a big glitch, or its one of those F3AR things that might have been cool if I'd actually seen it.

Edit: Oh, now I know what you mean. That part is goofy because there is no clear objective yet. You have to figure out how to get into the theatre or something. Since I usually have Wrench Lurker and maybe Sports Boost I equipped, I have a grand old time just whacking splicers, and eventually I get bored, wander around, and find my way in there. It's an arcade of stores that I turn into my personal whack-a-splicer.

Edit: Edit: Sander Cohen the Art Curator? Yeah, not a lot of 'cure', though.

Record of Agarest War, anyone who's played this game long enough will know what I'm talking about. King-fucking-Midas. A shitload of health, huge attack range, and is strong enough to kill your characters many times over. Also, he regenerates 15% of his health every turn, the longer the battle goes on, he gets stronger, the more damage you do to him, he gets stronger. And if you fight him long enough he'll do an attack that covers 90% of the field and one-shots ANYONE. Fuck him sooo much, no game I've played (not even new game+ Demon's Souls) compares to that asshole of a boss.
What gen was he in?

I'm in Generation 5 (Must beat 1 dark knight and two giant bird things, each having around 75,000 HP and each easily able to wipe out my party in 1 move). Just did 2 DKs (tough as nails) and another battle with 1 DK and 1 Giant bird...

Agarest is the hardest SRPG I've ever played.

Currently playing Agarest War: Zero on a 1 week rental (so I'm happy havinbg beat gen 1 and hopefully gen 2).
Generation 3, in Tlalocan City of God. He's the second to last boss of that generation. I only died once to the Durga (from my own stupidity), thanks to the grinding I did to beat Midas.

Oh FFX you crazy crazy bastard, can be very annoying. However it doesn't quite trump the rage I feel when fighting Yiazmat in FFXII. I'm down to a million HP on the big draconic bastard and he casts reflect on my party. No bad thing except that I've got a renewal queued to hit my party because it's dangerously low on health. Normally I'd simply cancel it, however it's too damn far along and goes off before I can react. Yiazamt now has 50 million HP again and is level 166... He can die in a fire.

FFX-2: No.

Batman: The Movie on the Amiga had the most frustrating final-moment. You have to launch your batrope diagonally to knock the joker off of the ladder (sorry for spoiling the ending there, but this game was 1989, man!) With a keyboard, that's fine and an easily executable manoeuvre. HOWEVER, being 5 years old, I was unaware that I could use any other controller than my oft-broken joystick, and consequently I would accidentally shoot the rope vertically, rather than at 45° required. I cried so hard! If you failed to stop the Joker (you had one chance to launch the batrope), you would lose a life. If it was your last life... back to the very beginning of the game for you!

Bayonetta the other day, the boss fights take ages and I'm bad at the game.

Oh and magicka on a boss with 2 adds who can keep respawning after you kill them, while they heal the boss. It was either a stalemate because I couldn't deal enough damage because I needed to shield and heal myself and the boss healed too much, or me dying while going for a more offence based tactic.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. There's a glitch near the end of the game where the Prince can't correctly jump of a pad/hit a plate. So I did it about 30-40 times until dumb luck smiled upon me!

Dead Island.

Let me give you the scenario, I'm walking down a street and suddenly I come across a wall that can only be passed by climbing up a ladder to a platform and then down the ladder on the other side. Simple enough I get to the platform and look at the mass of 6 infected crowded around the bottom of the ladder I have to climb down. Given the angle I couldn't shoot them and my one molotov didn't kill them so I tried to climb down and jump from the ladder to attack from the air. The machete passed through the infected not injuring them and then I was instakilled by their flailing chain attack, and I spawned three feet from them and was instantly charged by all six of them with their flailing arms instakilling me again. Spawn again in the same spot I kick one of them make a wild swing with my machete killing one and am then killed again, and again, and again.

So yes, Fuck you Dead Island.
Dead Island "Fuck you!" moments:

-Escorting an NPC to a raised bit of earth with a large group of zombies below it, blocking the path but unable to directly attack me or the NPC. Throw a molotov at them and the thing explodes in my face and incinerates the NPC. Try again and rush to the area to throw the cocktail before the NPC shows up and successfully destroy the zombies, only for the idiot to walk blindly into the fire and burn to death.

-Being rushed by 7 Infected with no staminia and no medikits.

-Using up all my ammunition and breaking all my weapons on one Ram only for two more to spawn in the next area.

-Climbing onto the Moresby rooftops and turning a corner right into a Suicider and getting blown off the roof. It was funny the first time it happened but then the game started putting the buggers behind locked doors or in tiny rooms with no room for manoeuvre and no chance to escape instanta-death.

Vanquish. I totally loved the game...until the double boss fight at the end with the TWO flying enemies who seemed basically invulnerable. I fired every goddamn thing in my arsenal, failed about 20 times and said "Fuck this" through clenched teeth. Traded for god knows what. To this day I don't know how the game ended :-(

Everytime the camera "helpfully" repositions itself to give you a clue to where you should go next in Asassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood. Thanks game, but I really can find me own way out of the templar lairs without you help, which costs me a jump to nowhere and I nice arrival at the first floor.
That one.

And MW1 when I'm getting a KD below 1. MAN that just pisses me off.

L4d (or 2) when you're going through expert realistic and fail a goal 5 times in a row including one JUST outside the saferoom.

Bunch of others that I can't think of right now.

Fallout NV.

Seriously it just crashed far too often. Every time I had to hard reset my PS3 I got angrier and angrier with the game. And if it wasn't crashing it was freezing, shuttering, glitching, or taking ages to load. Only about 30% of the total time I played was everything running well(over 40 hrs). Aside from the technical issues the quests just started getting boring.

Whatever mission it is in Saints Row 2 that requires you to get on a jet ski to go out to a yacht, and as soon as you ride for 2 seconds an attack copter blows you up with a guided missile, sending you straight back to your hideout to drive all the way back out to the place and get blown up within 2 seconds again. I will probably never touch that game again because of that.

And also Operation: Darkness. I wanted a decent WW2 turn-based tactical game. Who let all these werewolves and vampires and crap in? *shakes fist*
Get on the jet ski, get straight off, copter appears, blow it up with rockets, get back on jet ski.

I know the exact spot you mean, same happened to me. Made worse by the infected constantly respawning in that area.

I was never one for competitive multiplayer, so I normally play League of Legends vs bots, once I get better I'll probably go to ranked matches, but I digress, every single time I go in a lane against Annie Bot I say fuck this game, her special character ability is after she does 5 abilities, her next ability adds a stun effect, there is no way in hell that the bot isn't cheating on that one, it seems like every single time I move to engage her she just throws a stun at me, makes me rage every time.
Why would you go from bots to ranked instead of just normal games? People care more about their ranked elo than their normal game stats. Ive only played one Co-op AI game and I picked Karthus and ended up laning against annie. With Karthus's Q range you can hit her without taking any damage. You hit her once and she predictably runs at you allowing you to place Q's infront of her and then she runs away allowing you to place them behind her. Playing champions with less range would be more challanging but early game runes should allow you to trade blows with her (without stun).

Which boss is this? I couldnt beat barthandulus chapter 9 until I found a gold bangle in the area, so I thought that was a pretty cheap means of increasing difficulty.
