For some reason i didnt think that when you killed people or animals they would die just like in fable 1. but after watching a video of this guy playing the demo the game looks 3x better than i originally thought.

Not at all.

Molineoux (or however you spell it), hasn't delivered on his over-hyped bs since Populous 2. Black and White was overhyped, Fable 1 was overhyped... I've said it before and I'll say it again. He's dead to me.

DEAD TO ME!

At first this game looked interesting, but now it looks creepy. For instance, would someone mind telling me why a game like this would need STD's and Bestiality? Or why the game incentivizes players to kill their spouses?
It has what!?!

See this is the only thing that concerns me. Molyneux goes into an infinitesimal amount of detail in one aspect of the game that isn't overly relevant and just glosses over parts that would actually add to the world. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid.
Because he's going on and on about ways you can develop your character and claiming they ahev an AMZAZING story. He's not giving out ANY spoilers about the story so he is forced to talk about character development.

Well he has been a lot better this time to be frank. Lionhead have a whole department working around the clock to make sure you he dosn't say anything stupid (sniper laser's on his head during interviews)

Nah, but he has always shown us with video evidence when talking about new features, no waffling on about things that were impossible.

I would be more excited, but games like "Fallout 3" and "FIFA 09" as well as "Afrika" -which I received today- mean I am not the bubbling cauldron of excitedness that I should be.

I was when I first heard about it, really enjoyed the first one, but now I'm more "eh". Not too happy about the change of time period. Colonial era stuff never interested me much. Bow and arrow > blunderbuss in my opinion.

It would be a shame if it turned out that Mr Molyneux was just flapping his gob off at the collective media all this time and the entire game consists of dancing around a tree while the dog follows you, shouting "chicken chaser... does he chase chickens?"
Fuck, man, I hated those peasants.

Yeah. But apparently someone in the game is voiced by Steven Fry now, so I'll forgive the developers for any annoying villagers I meet. Besides, it's not like you can't kill them or anything.

The only thing I'm worried about in this game game is playing with my mate, who, on beginning the game, will proceed to murder, rape or steal anything not nailed down. And if they're nailed down, he'll probably steal them as well.

But gribbles aside, the combat, moral choices and the story looks pretty darn sweet. Already pre-ordered and drooling like a madman with anticipation.

I'll be playing through it with the girlfriend, hopefully she isn't too mad and psychotic when in control of a blunderbus weilding hero...

Fable had many un-finished promises, but Fable II, from the gameplay videos, seems to have all of those things in place. I pre-ordered the limited edition already.

And yeah, if I do not get this game, then I will take a toilet, put some rice in it, fry the rice, then hit the toilet into my head, pouring out the hot, fried rice onto my eyes. After letting my eyes burn for a while, I would take a wheelchair, set up two poles, attach rubber to them (a la Garry's Mod) and then let someone pull the wheelchair and the rubber, let it go, and order someone to shoot me with a shotgun while the wheelchair is flying towards me to break my legs. Now, my apprentices will finish the job by pouring lava onto me.

What? I'm just trying to fit in.

I never really understood how the aging process worked or why it was necessary, considering that it amounted to exactly nothing in the game. Still, the original Fable was a good game, it's just that it was said to be so much more. If all the claims are true this time, then we'll be looking at a fantastic game. If not, then a slightly above-average one.
If I remember correctly aging was related to will users, so the more magic you used the older you looked, plus all those glowing blue tattoos. Also I think you could reduce your age by give to the temple of Avo.
Actually, i looked into it myself, specializing in solely Melee stats like heatlh, Toughness and Physique will age you a lot faster

Doing mostly Skill leveling (killing EVERYTHING with a bow) you'll age noticeably slower.

And will users, yeah i think it's typically the same as strength, but you get awesome glowy features and hands.

Although it never seemed necessary to have Aging in the game anyway, atleast not at the rate your character ages, i mean sure you need to have some explanation as to how your characters body mass has shifted to pure mountains of muscle in the space of a night i guess a good way of explaining that is in "character years" he's aged about 7 years.

The times it REALLY gets to me is when you're in a cut-scene with your "older sister" and say, you've done the arena, i don't know about most, but i'm always fairly large by that point and my character is at least 55, which is only 10 shy of the cap. But your sister hasn't aged a day and the Guildmaster hasn't died of Old age which is something that looks like he's always close to.

It just confused me.
which makes me hope they've either refined the aging or gotten rid of it all together.

Fable 2 though, looks like it's gonna be a major step up from it's predecessor i think if anything Lionhead and Molyneaux(forgive spelling) have probably learned a thing or two, they probably know that everything they wanted from when Fable was still Project Ego is still a way off but they can still achieve greatness now.

I think Fable 2 will be brilliant and even if it turns into another Fable, i'll still end up playing again and again four years later.
