Fable 3 - Awesome or Overhyped?

I am hyped, but it's all my own, since I haven't been listening to Peter on this one. I for one really liked Fable 2, though, when I played through it again recently without insane expectations. The ending is shit regardless, though.

I hated that Molyneux said insane stuff that never was gonna happen but now.. I kinda like it. It's their trademark. 5+ for Peter!
Anyone know how optional the motion control is? I have zero interest konnect and was interested in fable 3 until I heard it used it. Now I might just play FO:NV until its confirmed it is unneeded..

I think it will be great, the only problem with the first two games (especially the second one) was the hype. The games were very good but people expected more than what was offered to them.
I think it'll be awesome AND overhyped. Like Fable 2. It was a game I loved, but Peter Molyneux's overhyping meant it could never live up to the picture he was selling. Hence why I've avoided, as much as possible, videos and articles featuring Peter Molyneux.viperthejedi said:

Gotta buy it. The gameplay looks solid enough, but it the writing that gets me.

fable 1 very good one of the best games i played on the old xbox. fable 2 very good but the end kind of sucked but other then that it was very good. fable 3 i dont know, if xplay says its good i will buy it. but i never bought into the hype the last two times and i wont fall for the hype this time but the game might be a bit overhyped
I definately agree, Molyneux hasnt really been hyping Fable 3 too much and he hasnt promised any features that were not backed up with actual gameplay footage of said feature. I really enjoyed Fable 1&2 despite their many many many many flaws and will almost certainly be picking this up at some point before christmas.Rusty Bucket said:
I picked up an early copy a few days ago from the store I work in. Honestly, it has its fun moments and still keeps the humour of the older fable games, but in my opinion it has some small but irritating flaws that just make some bits unsatisfying.
