Looking at VG Charts you have to be either part of the Halo or Gears Of War franchise to do that.
Not even the mighty Mass Effect 2 has achieved this yet.
I think it'll depend on how hyped people are about natal, seeing how natal is primarily gonan be focused on casual games (like teh wii) it may end up as LoZ:tp, one of teh few early good non-casual games on natal.
Did you PLAY Fable?? It was blinking brilliant! Yeah Fable 2 took a beating from the Hyped-Up-Turd stick, but the man admitted his mistake. I'm quite pleased to see a developer who's not afraid to say stupid things. At least he's got ambition, which is more than I can say for some people GTA IV. Was their intention to create a game more dull than life?? POINT IS that the current trend in gaming is to strive for cinematic experience, obviously developers can see something good about that, and since he's making Natal optional anyway, where's the harm? If Natal lets me kick ass without my controller running out of batteries, and lets my inept other half have a bash too, why the hell wouldn't I welcome it? And if it's rubbish I won't buy it, problem solved. Awww Yiss.saejox said:Fable .medicore
ocarina of time was innovative, fable was not. unless count chicken kicking innovative. none of his work is innovative. he just acts that way.BKtheKITTY said:Did you PLAY Fable?? Not everyone can innovate, some people work on what's been done, hence Twilight Princess being ace, yet the same as every other Zelda game. Innovation is a risk, and quite frankly there's nothing wrong with a decent 3rd person hack'n'slash dungeony adventure role play thingy...Fable...Thing.saejox said:ocarina of time was innovative, fable was not. unless count chicken kicking innovative. none of his work is innovative. he just acts that way.BKtheKITTY said:Did you PLAY Fable?? Calling him Uwe Boll is a bit much, he's more like Kevin Costner.BKtheKITTY said:Anyway, who died and made Peter the new Uwe Boll? Because unfortunately it sure wasn't Uwe.
WOAH now, I just made the implication that people are treating him like the E-man, which no one but he himself deserves. I like that Peter gives himself something to aim for. Sure, his games aren't as great as they are in his mind, but Halo isn't as good as lots of people seem to think. I guess it just comes down to how much you can listen to someone dream in the guise of a game mechanic, maybe I'm just a big softie, but we all knew that we could never trust the hype.Nomanslander said:Calling him Uwe Boll is a bit much, he's more like Kevin Costner.BKtheKITTY said:Anyway, who died and made Peter the new Uwe Boll? But you know what, just like Kevin I don't blame Peter.
I blame all the idiots that keep giving him another chance...0o
