Fable 3 Opens With Depressing Chicken Movie

Dang it all to heck, now I got all hyped up about a game I won't be able to play.
Damn you, curiosity!

I found the trailer oddly enticing, if that's not abundantly clear by this point.

I liked it. You play a mighty character who is at odds with even mightier individuals. It's a nice little parallel between the fight of the largest and smallest.

yeah the ideas behind this trailer were awesome

this was truly an epic trailer, one that even the simplest of people can understand but at the same time an ingenious idea.

im very interested in this game, although i am trying my best not to overhype it as like the last two fables have been

It feels more like a trailer than an opening. It doesn't really lay out the setting aside from the fact that the world of industry has come to Albion, which we already know.

It has a subtle message in it though. It displays that something is wrong with the land and that your mission is going to be to bring justice to all. You almost want to do so for the sake of that chicken... I rather liked it.

aye but the feather landing aty the window, im guessing picking it up as a prince will be the first thing you do in the game, its all linked together

That's the best intro for a game Ever. If a game like that can make you sympathize with a chicken, i wonder why they can't do it with say GEARS OF WARS or HALO.

It just a chicken that decide he won't be the main course, then it turn into a Tom and Jerry cartoon for a while and, when he find the courage to fly like a bird, he's shot down.

It does in fact. It's a metaphor for what happen to the people, and how they deal with heroes. It got me pumped up.

How is it an intro that makes no sense? I thought it was really clever. Fable has this unique mix of humor and seriousness, following true to the whole "fairy tale-esque" vibe it tries to establish. The trailer emphasizes this while obviously standing for the whole "Revolution, fight the power!" the game is based on.

Loved it. Then again I'm a bit bias, I've always adored the Fable franchise.

I didn't love Fable in any way and yet, I'm agreeing 100% with you. It's too shuttle for some people. Also, since I own a PS3 and probably won't play it. Please, avenge the chicken.

Dunno how I feel about getting Fable 3 yet, Fable 2 was good but could have been much better.
