Actually he could be referring to a problem I've had. After I married
Lady Grey
every now and again I'd go around and there wouldd be citizens talking but they wouldn't show up for a bit.
There's also the haunted Brightwood farm. If you helped Giles, when you go to the farm later, you can hear people sleeping upstairs but no one is there.

So due to an unforeseen let's just say "accident" involving guards, guns, and a lot of lightning, my house has become a bit of a wreck. Now can I fix this, or shall I just invest in a new house?
Find a nice house for Lisa and Zoe, you know you want to.

Okaay so I finished the story line and lord knows this might have come up a couple times but I'm not about to read through nine pages so here goes: (SPOILERS AHEAD btw so skip it if you haven't finished, I don't know how to make one of those clicky boxes).

So I Chose the love wish after this really heart wrenching scene involving me and my sister in a perfect world in the hope we could be reunited and live that dream since I made Albion safer (yes I'm the evilest person alive there but when it comes to family and my dog things change).
Anyway I made the wish, got the credits and there I stood, dog by my side, letter from sister in my hand, saying she was somewhere with lots of trees, a hooded, scary, skinny man who she believes might be a king but she keeps forgetting his name. He knows about our family it seems, and she promises we will see each other soon.
Now I couldn't expect her to stand right next to me on that beach with my dog but when I realised there was no place where she could be and I had no recollection of any man fitting that description ever crossing my path in Fable 2 I am now one pissed off evil person who wants to see her <-(in-game) sister but can't find her and probably won't.

Now what I really want to know is what is up with this, will I ever meet with her or to put it differently; have any of you finished the story, made the choice of love and been reunited with your sister along the way? (you can tell this really gets to me in some way since I'm semi-obsessing over a character I had no real feelings toward from beginning to end until the Perfect World scene, and even now it might sound ridiculous. Just goes to show what a great game this is).
Anyway if anyone knows a bit more I would like to know, and thanks for your time.

Let's just say I hope your house wasn't too expensive :)

Oh god. It was really expensive, I think the guards owe me compensation for that, when you walk into an evil pirates house uninvited, you aren't leaving with your head.
Also, from what I've seen, nope never see her again. Shame really. Just like my damn house!

Crap if that's true I am really pissed they made me care that much, and on the other hand I can see myself praising this moment at the odd chance when an expansion will be arriving.

Yeah I'm sorry about that :p Where was your house and which one was it?

Still props to the game that the house can be destroyed, or did your furniture only get smashed?

The one right on the market in Bowerstone. So convenient for me, considering I'm there a lot. It's just the wallpaper/walls that are wrecked really, generally makes the place look a mess, it's not nice. I guess I could move into the old district, or one of the many other houses there. It's inconvenient more than anything.

So you can't redo the wallpaper? Should be an option; buying new wallpaper in the furniture store.

None of the furniture shops seem to have any wallpaper. Mind you I can only find the furniture shop in Bowerstone. Are there more than just that one and wondering merchants?

There's one in Bloodstone I'm sure of it.

And I think there might be one at Westcliff if you helped Barnum with his little project there. Don't know if any have wallpaper though, just think it's a bit disappointing they didn't think of that.

Nope, nobody sells wallpaper. Never mind though, I got myself a better house for cheep a little bit further up the road; so it has all worked out.

Firstly, for those that haven't clocked it yet, could we try to keep ending discussion in spoiler tags?

Your sister is with Scythe - who is most likely William the very first Archon. Why the hell she is with him, I do not know, but it seems that with the whole 'endless trees' concept she is still dead. Or at least totally unreachable.

As for the Perfect World scene - I felt the same, so it wasn't just you.

I think the idea is that, wherever she is, she is happy, and whilst you aren't immediately reunited with her, you will be one day.

I really hated that perfect world scene. I had grown really attached to my dog, and at that point when I thought he was gone forever I really hated the game. The only reason I didn't pack it in and go home was because I knew how close I was to the end and wanted to at least finish it. I really didn't realise how much I liked that dog until it was gone.

Also, what is all of this about the king and queen of blades and this Scythe fellow. Have I just not payed enough attention to the cut scenes, or do I have do some external research to find out about these strange people?

The three entities that emerged from the void (___ of Blades) can be read up on in the literary content Lionhead released - unfortunately, the program you download to read it is apparently very buggy. The Fable 2 section on Gamefaqs has the two short-stories as a sticky, much easier that way.

Scythe was in Fable: The Lost Chapters. He was believed to be immortal - hence why he looks like a corpse - but in between Fable 1 and 2 he dissapeared. I assume he finally died, as he is with Rose.

The second short story STRONGLY suggests Scythe is William the Black, the very first Archon. This would not only make him immortal but ancient. The clothes and appearence described by Rose in her letter fit Scythe perfectly.

I'd like to know what people think about her, as it seems rather likely she is the same Theresa from Fable.

Also, canon states that the Hero from Fable used the Sword of Aeons to finally defeat Jack - this suggests the Hero killed his sister for the sword. Confusing, seeing as she's around centuries later.

Theresa seemed to have unusual powers, even for a hero, but unless she made a bargain similar to Reaver - i.e., sacrificing an entire village to demonic entities - then I have no idea how she is still walking about, acting all ominous, taking over the Spire.

I imagine Fable 3 will most likely be centered around what Theresa is doing/has done with the Spire - again, I have no idea what she wants with it, as the hero's wish used the last of its power.

When I did the
Bring back Lady Grey quest and chose to make her love me, after the guy went away she ran away screaming, so I can't do anything else with her as she has disapeared :(

EDIT

<spoiler=Guildmaster>The canon also suggests that the hero killed him and that the words "your health is low" were carved into his forehead.
So I suppose evil was the way to go in fable.

Well, I've beaten the major story now (Three days sick with nothing to do FTW), And I've enjoyed it overall. So, here's my outcome at the moment. Mind you, I haven't finished the game itself by any means. So here's my story, bragging grounds, blunders, and overall opinion of the game all in one neat, spoiler-wrapped package. Enjoy or fuss at me for typing a veritable tome, "Whatever floats your proverbial boat," as Reaver might say. I trust at least some of you will be absolutely betwattled.

Starting off, I'm still Aragorn J. Lennon Claus, named so because I've got a ruggedly handsome ranger motif, but I sing, dance, and give toys to small children. I had to kill twelve people including my fiance to get the damned halo off my head. Anywho, I'm currently using a Master Katana with the Golden Touch augment and a Master Clockwork Pistol. As you can tell, I'm very speed oriented. Though I have more than enough experience to max out my entire abilities chart, I keep strength and skill maxed but only have Time Warp for my Will powers, for two reasons: One, I only use Time Warp for teleporting behind enemies to skewer them (Yes, I've actually skewered bandits on my sword), and two because the glowy will lines don't match with my outdoorsey ranger look.

I chose the Love card at the end of the story. (It was that or the Sacrifice, but I decided that my dog was more valuable than a few-thousand men, women and children.) I have quite a few houses and stores for rent, and have been saving up rather slowly for the castle. I chose Lionheart from the titles, and my status in the logbook is still "The Saint". Oh, and I still haven't gotten a wife and kids. My furry friend has amused me quite enough for now. Doesn't mean I've gone completely chaste, though. That's kind of impossible when you've got twenty girls pleading for you at any given time.

Let's see, most notably and most recent was with the final scene with Lucien, which was as follows: "Do you really think th-" BANG. *Lucien stumbles and falls*. I'm assuming there was a monologue coming, but my mentality at the time was less dramatic heroism and more, "Hallo. My name is Lionheart. You killed my puppy. Prepare to die."

Second was still where the bullet time kicked in consistently during a fight where I ported behind and subsequently flourished ten guards in a row on the way to try and get the Mage.

Third was with a gargoyle. "Yer the worst marksman I've ever seen." BANG. *gargoyle death scream*

Hooray for embarrassing moments. I assure you I've never failed the fart expression, fortunately. However, One of my major gripes with the ability to marry/have sex with any character in the game is that there's only ever five or so models for either gender. Until I met Alex for the quest involving that ghost's revenge. She was cute, and most importantly unique amongst all the other faces. But I went under the fatal assumption that the ghost had signed his own rejection letter. Turns out he didn't and poor Alex kills herself. Says I, sigh. I'm currently trying to see if there's a way to perhaps marry the archaeologist lady, though I doubt it.

Secondly was that I didn't bother to fund Barnum's Westcliff plan. "Oh, I'll do it later." Then "Three months? Now, that won't do." BANG. Says I, sigh again.

Third was that I still have yet to bring cheese to the Brightwood door.

I've got to say that I love the game. Though I'm bound to get a helluva lot of crap for this next statement, I think that Fable 2 succeeded where Oblivion failed in terms of immersion. Let's face it, the townsfolk aren't always talking about mudcrabs and goblins, and there's no beggars who have such good posh english impressions that they feel the need to use it with every other paragraph. Though the spell system is sluggish and inconvenient, the choppy-shooty route is smooth and fun. The dog as a companion is great, as his AI isn't bugging you to high hell every five minutes. And I must congratulate Lionhead on their superb sense of humor.

My only major gripes are the aforementioned lack of diversity amongst NPC models and spell combat, as well as the lack of wardrobe choices. I honestly want something that's a cross between the bandit and explorer shirt, but whatever. Oh, and the trick with the Winter Lodge demon door. I so wanted to live there like Homestead. But then poof, skeletons and torture devices. And a master Longsword. Not that the silly blade helped to mitigate the shock as my dream home turned into hell.

Note: All sections have spoilers in them. Hence, they are spoiler-tagged for more than just organizational reasons. You've been warned, I guess.

an interesting point i'd like to see, theres that one quest where you invest 5k into the investors scheme.

does westcliffs economy change for the better still if you chose to invest? ie chose to invest, economy comes up, reap rewards or chose not to, economy stays/gets worse. this is all of course after you have gone to the spire and come back. but does your influence of good/evil seem to influence the landscape of albion?

its probably an outrageous idea, but interesting.

I know this one, I read it somewhere. It claims that after the Hero of Oakvale struck his sister into the vortex she learnt to harness the power of it, setting her free and granting her immortality and great powers.

The immortality bit may be wrong, but it would explain why she is still alive.

Yes, it becomes a blooming town full of happy people if you invest. Also, 15,000 payback on your investment.
