Here's a hint...

That's right Tony Hawk Shred... just as broken and unplayable as the original but selling twice as worse...

APB, and I never even got a chance to play it
I was in the Beta, actually it wasn't half bad. The only problems were 1. Waaaay too many restrictions 2. All quests were either "kill that" or "run over there then press F to spray grafitti".

Mass Effect 2. It had crappy gameplay, flat characters, and that Godawful ending sequence-- it makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about how far Bioware has fallen.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
I gotta say its a toss up between metroid the other M and super mario all stars for me

metroid the other m because of the horrible horrible story/voice acting/dialog/samus personality fortinatly it had fantastic game play. Mario all stars because it was a direct port of super mario all stars, its the sort of thing that should have been just put out on the wii classic console (whatever) thing instead of getting its own box release with a tiny bit of mario trivia and a bad sound track cd (not that the music is bad but there is like one track from each game listed in the art book)

There's only one answer to this question, and that is Final Fantasy XIII.

One of the most disappointing games in my whole gaming life, let alone my Gaming year.
Final Fantasy XIV, though. Although I guess people expected that to suck more than they did FFXIII.

APB. I really wanted to get that game but thankfully I didn't since it went down. It was pretty disappointing since it was shaping to be a really awesome game.

also i know its not technically game related, when I was in Berlin on a school trip, one of the parent chaperones from another school asked if the Nazis were for or against Hitler....twas most painful

I haven't played any real fails this year. In fact, I haven't played a lot of new games at all.

But Bioshock 2 would be my choice then. It was too short, yes. And it felt a little clunky. But is was by no means bad. Just not as good as its predecessor.

Final Fantasy XIII hands down. It was the ost boring game I 've ever played this year and one of the most boring games I've ever played in my lifetime. I woild elaborate but other posters pretty much summed up my opinion.

Alpha Protocol. Sure the story was nice and all but the gameplay made me want to vomit.

Runner Up: APB, a game which had the potential to bring me back to the MMO scene. Only to be all hype and a life span of two months.

Winner: Modern Warfare 2's map packs. It was blatant highway robbery.

Ok, for me, it is without a doubt Fable 3. Fable 2 was a buggy piece of shart, and I had read the reviews and heard a lot of the talk and had hoped for something better/a little different/less bugs in Fable 3. And you know, it would have been a small victory on my part is the game would have simply worked and had average gameplay...

Of coarse that didn't happen. This game has more bugs than Motel 6. Game breaking bugs. About 16 hours in the Meh story and even more Meh combat and all of 3 different enemy types in the entire game... it glitched out and was unplayable, completely broken. I had seen some minor bugs before this one, but when I fell through the map and my character was saved falling through limbo, I declared it Fail of the year. Then looked online and found that there are many gamebreaking glitches. So basically, I am done with anything Fable and anything related to Peter M.

Borderlands. I know it was released earlier but I only played it this year, and I gotta say I was bored shitless with it.
Were you playing it alone?

I miss the Master Chief and Cortana...
Hopefully 343 Industries will sort that out nicely!

And by "sort it out" I clearly mean "make a balls of it"

Seriously. Halo 4 WILL NOT WORK.

Plants vs Zombies. So incredibly boooooooooooring.

Ok technically not a 2010 release but still.
I hope you realise... We can never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever^infinity EVER be friends.

OT: I'm gonna go with Fallout: New Vegas.

Ok, I'll admit, I've played through New Vegas...
[sub]Twice[/sub]
And I enjoyed it...
[sub]Twice...[/sub]

But that doesn't excuse it for being so DAMN GLITCHY!
My save file got corrupted... Again, twice.
Luckily I save every 20 minutes.

Hang on!

While I do admit that they have dropped in quality a bit since Baldur's Gate 2 (seriously, that game is amazing), I don't agree that it's that far. I mean, Dragon Age: Origins was awesome!

Both Final Fantasys.

I'm surprized no one has mentioned Medal Of Honor, not because I think it's a bad game, but because many people do.
I personally think Medal of Honour is a great game. It's weird, I shun anything Call of Duty above 4 and all the games similar to it but I just enjoyed MoH.
