The towers of perdition yes, where there were the roaming spells and where richard got his sorcerer sand. There should be some left even if they were all destroyed, after all he only destroyed the towers themselves, the sand would still remain, since as his father showed, the sand can lay innert indefinately without being used.

I don't know. They said that green grass and trees shot up, didn't they? I think they would have noticed all that sand.

Though, I guess there would be other places to get Sorcerers Sand anyway, but where I am in the series, we don't know any.

The books are still VERY good so far, I don't know what you mean about the realism making the books bad.

I didnt intend to say it made them bad...just uninteresting to a pure fantasy reader like myself. I fell in love with the books because of the magic, the spells and the demons...if i want to read about massive armies commiting genocide a'll look up the holocaust.

he actually had to sneak into the camp to use it there would be no way to get past the guards in the "elite" ring near the camp center but he did try to place it as close as possible. jagang was actually away from the camp when it happened anyway. and yes it was one shot but the order didn't know that, thats why zedd used it to keep them scared and stop them from attacking the wizards keep. for all they know it could have only been one shoot one use or he could be sitting up in the wizards keep with 10 more pilled on his lap waiting for them to advance :3

Taliban, yes. They hope to get to an Utopian society, and they convince political leaders to join them with promises of political prominence.

I also don't like doing things on faith.

It required specific requirements, he couldn't just throw it at Jagang.

yes zedd can 1 shot 300 men but he cant 1 shot 10000 men. there in lies the flaw, terry knew the wizards were imbalanced so he made the order so impossibly huge that there would be no way they could win without careful strategy. also you keep on forgeting the sisters that can sheild the soldiers remembering that zedd as awesome as he is, is still up against 100 sisters(with wizard powers) and over 1000000 men.

Theoretically assuming there was an adequate supply of sand in the keep, have laid a web of sand around the keep for about..5 miles so that he could he a firespell and incinerate the entire army in one go. That'd need a lot of buried sand though...

I still don't think that would even come close to defeating the order.

Jagang is the fist, a very smart fist, but a fist none the less. He is replaceable. His replacement wouldn't have his dreamwalking ability, but I think there are gifted who will still want to be slaves, or just want to help the Order.

It seems not many Sisters have any sanity anymore.

I'd say most of the army would stay, but even if half left, they probably wouldn't join D'Hara, and that still leaves millions of Order troops.
