if I was single and met a girl I liked as a person with fake boobies, I wouldn't care. yeah I'd probably spot them (boobs aren't that round) but its who they are that counts.
if my misses came out and said I want breast implants I would dissuade her but understand why. girls wanting breast implants is like men wanting to be buff.

saying that I know a friend of a friend (sorry for the newspaper style source) that got chest implants to look ripped. (the guy is gay if it holds any bearing to this thread)

I think the thing to remember is the women or men that get plastic surgery to "pull" and are thought of as insecure/alpha people would most likely be seen that way without implants.
Your friend did realize that he could just work out right?

I mean it is cheaper, safer, and healthier.....

Women can't change their bust size through exercise but a mans pecks change based on use.
of course but like liposuction it's results without the work.
but yeah my thoughts exactly, what is the point of being big if you have no strength?

I'd never judge someone for getting implants, but at the same time it's kind of a turn off for me. Natural all the way, baby.

Breast implants spoil the fun. I like to fondle them. I prefer big boobs. But I'll also fondle small boobs. But fake boobs are not boobs. They do not arouse me when I fondle them. They turn me off.

You mean there's a girl behind those things? Seriously, they are far too big for a skinny girl like her and they only look vaguely plausible because they are in a corset. Find a pic of her in a bikini and they look ridiculous. Boobs the size of watermelons should respect the law of gravitation.

I think most people will agree that fake boobs are, at the very least, meh.

Have personally seen very well done ones, and then a lot of terrible ones. You basically need the right body to hide them well - aka, a little thick. The scars are a whole other deal as well. Overall, meh.

Though, the one thing I truly identify with it is that the owner usually is looking to get some... otherwise, they wouldn't have gone that far in the first place. Nobody get's these things if not to attract men.

It doesn't know me one bit, there is still hope to prevent this thing from becoming skynet.

I don't mind tattoos at all. As long as it's not a face that will watch me as I perform, I'm usually good. The only real one that I just "don't like" is tramp stamps. If she has tons of them to begin with, I consider it open space to be used - but if she has very few of them, and one just happens to be a giant tribal rose on her upper ass - I am predisposed to lose all interest. Fad tattoos signifying slut culture is fucking lame.

I don't dislike breast implants because they are expensive and vain, I don't like them because it involves altering one's body to please others and I don't support that reasoning. Even in your examples of bullying and breast amputation, the woman is altering her body either to please bullies or to be more socially normal and not let anyone know she had breast cancer.

I also don't really support designer cloths or sport cars mostly because I see them as a waste of money. (maybe that just comes from growing up in a poor-ish family).

I dislike breast implants because they look fake as fuck.

The same reason I dislike bad tattoos or a bad hair dye job.

I don't dislike breast implants because they're breast implants, I dislike them because you can tell they're breast implants.
Yeah, thats my thoughts on the matter. Fake boobs are nice and all, but they just dont compare to real ones. But im not against people getting them.

If you are an adult woman and would like to have bigger breasts, just do it. As long as they do it for themself. I personally don't like it, but I can't stop them either.
I just find it sad when they do it to please someone else.

Also 16 year old girls shouldn't get them at all, because they are still developing, and can't make important decisions.

I just personally don't like them. They look stupid and are ultimately utterly fucking pointless. Their are men that will like a girl with small breasts. I equate "needing" breast implants to needing to be more titillating.
If a genie came up and presented you a chance to upsize your junk by a few inches for 1000$, would you take him up on the offer? Assuming you could afford it of course. Chances are that this "upgrade" would be completely unnecessary, as it would be for most men, yet many still feel insecure about their size. I think most men would choose to be bigger, given the chance. Now the difference between dicks and tits is that the latter are more or less always on display, so they're likely to be a pretty big part of one's body image.

Now I don't have numbers to back this up, but I think this is also the reason most people work out; the health nuts are a minority, as most do it simply because they're unhappy with their bodies. If it makes you feel better about yourself, it's not pointless. Even if it is shallow.

That said, I'm not a fan of body modification of any kind. Not piercings, tattoos, hell, even makeup outside of special occasions seems like a great big waste to me. I love the human body, but I also have an aversion to everything unnatural. Just knowing something is "fake" is enough to turn me off of it, even if I liked it before when I was still oblivious to the fact.

There's a big difference between improving intelligence and paying someone to make you more "attractive"

One requires lot's of hard work and dedication the other, not so much.

Besides, it's not like we don't praise people improving their appearance either. If someone starts losing weight, styling their hair, wearing more fashionable clothes we generally applaud them.

Comparing breast implants with tattoos is not a fair comparison. If you get a tattoo you are basically saying that yu want to have sone kind of awesome picture where there wasn't one before.

But a girl starts out with breasts, so getting implants is a matter of expressing dissatisfaction with what you already have. It also makes an implicit and negative statement about how the person with implants perceives other women's bodies.

I just like boobs. Sure some fake ones are ugly, but others are nice. But some natural breasts are ugly too, but others are really nice too.

In the end it is the whole that matters, and if girls get breasts that just don't fit them then that I don't like. And generally most girls have naturally breasts that fit their body.

So yeah, that's just my thought on the subject.

OP Should move to North America. People love fake boobs here. Though I do understand that in the United Kingdom there's much less love for the silicones.
I'm an American man. I'll take naturals any day of the week. I'm not saying I hate implants, I just hate BAD implants that obviously look fake - which is most of them.

As long as the fake boobs are not cartoonishly large then it is okay, I do like real boobs because they look.....softer. You can trust me when I say this, I have see a lot of porn and I should shut up now.

meh i say, meh, their choice, may not serve a real function but if they really like having bigger tits then let them have it, i cant see it hurting anybody else unless it hurts when you get erect but if it does you should see a doctor, or take the strap away.

If done right they can be okay, I guess. But I would still prefer natural ones. I also don't understand the appeal of huge breasts.

C's are big enough for me, anything bigger starts looking less attractive to me.

The reason I?m not a big fan of breast implants is because they just look too ridiculous to take seriously. At least some people?s tattoos have personal and emotional meaning to them, like my friend?s friend, who got a Celtic knot on his arm because his late father gave it to him on a necklace as a child when he left for a little while.

Also, ladies? Big fucking deal if you have small breasts. Trust me: most guys don?t give a shit about the size of your breasts. Just look at how many people think Keira Knightley?s hot, even outside of the airbrushed magazine photos. And it?s more practical to have small breasts, because large breasts can cause you back pain and means you have to buy bigger bras that will be more uncomfortable.

If you really need the equivalent of beach-balls strapped to your chest to actually feel good about yourself, you need to see a counsellor/therapist. However, it?s not as if I?d personally dislike anyone that had a boob job. I don?t mind boob jobs, and if they?re done well, I can even find them attractive. But it won?t stop me from thinking that the person in question has some self-image issues, especially if you need something as costly and potentially risky and surgery when you don?t even have a disorder or disease.

Personally, as long as a woman's appearance is such a large part of her identity, then its fair game to do what you can to improve it.

But like anything, it can be done well and it can be done poorly. Obvious fake boobs just make you look, well, fake. But a woman with an A cup moving up to a C cup, using a rather simple procedure, is okay in my book.

The other thing to keep in mind, though, is when it comes to breasts, it is easy to go too big.

In my experience, not that its fair, a women with very small breasts isn't respected or considered attractive. A women with large breasts (above D) is considered attractive in more promiscuous circles but is still not respected. This group also tends to be associated with women who work in sex, most notably porn stars. A women with moderate (C or D) breasts is the most respected and the most universally attractive.

As for why they get the names, go to the boards for any TV program featuring a woman people don't like. They simply generate more vile reactions than men do. Again, not fair, but when a women does something you don't like its because there is something wrong with her at her core.

Too lazy to look for all the studies but here are few examples of what I was talking about regarding respect and attractiveness:

Edit: while I give a pass to breast enlargement on a moderate scale... women, keep that plastic surgery the hell away from your face.

I prefer women without implants, every fake boob I have seen looked wrong. Not 'bad' as such, just 'wrong'. They also don't feel right either, which is the same reason I'm not keen on tongue or genital piercings as well.

I'm not saying women shouldn't get them, at the end of the day you should do what makes you happy. This is just what I prefer.
