Er i rember a few like in ocerna getting the other horse erm getting locked in garudo fotress as a kid getting to play as dark link and finally that if you repaired the sword (the one which breaks) while holding your special down you would get a sword which shoots fire.
Pokemon the one where you had to sail to find mew by getting knocked out on the SSAN and sailing to the left then you went to the island off the first movie. That missingno pokemon erm finally the infinite rare candy cheat.

Ah the Wheat Sword, I remember reading the full walkthrough on how to get it, keeping some glimmer of hope it might be real.hopeneverdies said:
During the Wii's development I heard that Nintendo was making a next gen console called Project X, later renamed the Revolution. It was supposedly to feature cartridge ports from all their previous consoles (ala the Sega Master System) as well as SEGA's. Rumor was that the two members of the old guard were putting aside their past differences and merging. In the original Diablo, there persisted a rumor within it's fandom that if you clicked a cow on Tristam a ludicrous number of times, an portal would open to a secret level. The rumor spread so rampantly and the question "How do I access the secret cow level" was raised so many times that Blizzard referenced it by making the phrase "There is no cow level" a cheat code in Starcraft.
Then upon Diablo II, they indeed placed in an easter egg where they created a secret cow level.

i stumbled across one for Halo 2 once, that listed an extremely complicated series of things you had to do, but if you did it right, you got to play as Hunters in a secret level. i actually gave it some thought before doing some research...

My friend actually achieved those impossible odds (beating emerald & ruby weapon were hard enough) only to find it wasnt to be.
This ofcourse was partly due to the game magezines & before the days of the internet or public knowledge of the existence of photoshop.
Coincidently, does any one know what those super sweepers, 1/35 soldiers and masamune blades that you win in the rollercoaster ride at the golden saucer are actually used for?
Or even more so, how to open that bloody chest in calm town & whats actually in it? It has remained a mystery to me even to this day.

If you expended all your ammo on the Nihilanth, you could jump up to him hit the USE KEY and befriend him. Afterwards you would be transported to a secret extra level set on a submarine or Naval Carrier. Somewhere on it you encountered a Gargantua that you defeated by luring into the water to drown. During someplace there was a secret room, where the G-Man was, who supposedly told you he was his father.
In what seemed like a prophetic prelude to our Collector's Editions of the day, the guys spreading this rumor claimed these levels were only available on the first printings of the game. They also claimed that subsequent patches have removed these levels even on the CD. So good luck tracking down a first edition unpatched!
