All Three for me, Though Bethesda did kinda Oblivionise it in Fallout 3, Still a great game though.

To The Fans of Both Interplay and Bethesda, Please Dont Fight in this Forum, I merely wish to know what you think.

Fallout 3, because the gameplay is much more enjoyable than it's predecessors.

I've only played the third one, so by default it wins in this case.

But I have started playing the first one, so we'll see if this changes in the long run.

Fallout 2, which took everything good about the original and then turned it up to 11. Plus you didn't lose the game if you dawdled about doing whatever the heck you wanted, though your shaman fellow would sort of nag you to go save them.

Did you love Oblivion? If that's the case, Post-Apocalyptic Oblivion: Fallout 3 will probably be your choice.
For me, however, it has to be Fallout 2.

I liked 2 the most, mainly because of the stealing trick to get to lv 20 in your hometown. It was so much fun punching a rad scorpion for insane damage with your bare hands.

Another vote for Fallout 2.

And,
Oblivion blew. Not as much as Morrowind, but damn. Daggerfall is still the only worthy sequel in the Elder Scrolls series.

All Three for me
Opinion is void on grounds of grammatical fallacy. All three games cannot be the best in the series. Best for different reasons, but not overall.

For me I'd say 2. I was a fan of the gameplay in Fallout and similar titles. The story was good, and it greatly expanded upon the universe laid out in the first game.

Fallout 2

I'm one of those rare creatures who prize games with witty dialogue and good writing even over gameplay, and while I enjoy Bethesda's games, if there's two things they're terrible at it's witty dialogue & writing. For such a famed RPG developer they really need to hire some better talent in that department.

Probably why I'm looking forward to Vegas so much as Obsidian are pretty much Bethesda's opposites in that respect. *Great* writers, but mediocre bug ridden gameplay seems to be the norm. Has been ever since the days of Black Isle.

Fallout 3. By far.

Turn based combat gives me anal herpes.
no, your boyfriend gives you anal herpes. its a well known internet fact. BURN! I AM THE INSULT MASTER!

PS. if you actually know what that reference was from...well...you earned 1,000,000 cookies.
Funny enough, it's something I know I saw recently...

I'm thinking Entourage, or the Hangover...

Edit:

I know where I heard it before. On this forum. So I googled it and discovered it's from an old flash game.

I at least get half of those cookies for taking the time out and finding it before you ninja'd me.

Also... no. 'You are Gay' jokes are not interesting enough to suggest mastery of the art of insulting.

I'd like to know how that would work.
You know, with the disk and all, how would it fit in... on second thought I really don't want to know.

OT: F3, I just couldn't get into the first two. So, like he said, minus the herpes.

I have only played Fallout 3, but that got boring pretty fast and I wanna try out the other two because they look interesting.
