True story.

I once started playing Fallout 3 around 3:00 PM

My stomach started hurting so I put the controller down for a second, looked at the clock, and it was 1:00 AM.

I had to be up that morning at 10:00 AM. It was not a fun day.

I own it, and it's the reason I bought and played the first two games.
So yeah, great game and I'm longing for the DLC's for PS3.

I own it, although I haven't picked up the last DLC for it yet and I haven't played it in awhile.

Was great fun though.

I own it, bought it on launch day, it was an alright game, and having to pay for the DLCs was a bummer.

I always heard that the first two were good, so I told my friend about it, He went out and bought it, aaaaaand then he wouldn't shut up about it; So! I decided to go out and get it for the PS3, since my computer sucks. And I just loved it, it sets an incredibly depressing theme, running through the ruins of the DC wasteland while listening to 50's music on Galaxy News Radio. Brilliant! There were setbacks for me, involving Collision detection issues, Clipping textures, and framerate hiccups. (The PS3 version's the buggiest.) Aside from that, It's a game where My friends and I can really connect, even through the lack of multiplayer. It's something where we can hum some tunes and someone just says, "I can't get that song out of my head either." All in all, Yes. I do own it. So do all of my friends. And we love it.

Bought it, played for about 2 hours and got bored. I love Oblivion tho, and love the LOTR series too, which leads me to believe I'm more into fantasy than post-apocalyptic games.

Its an okay game but the gunplay really sucked..
No, it was just more realistic than most noone can hold a gun truely steady or rotate as fast as in most FPSs

Realism doesn't include dicerolls whenever you point a gun and hold the trigger..

That's an attempt to simulate how unpredictable a gun is.

Own it. Love it.

In fact, I was playing it a moment ago. I eagerly await the next DLC: Point Lookout. Hoo RAH.

I've noticed that most people I know who are into Fallout 3 did not like it at first. Same goes for Oblivion. My theory is that most people, not knowing what to do when they begin, make their character totally impractical. The second try is what usually hooks people.

I didn't like Oblivion when I first played it, and gave up. A few months later I came back and tried again, and loved it. So don't give up on poor ol' Fallout.

Or, as you say, you could be a fantasy person. That's good, too.

But it shouldn't be to this extent, sure a cone of fire is okay and it is very realistic as well. Aiming for a full bodyshot from 5 metres with low 'small weapons' skill and MISSING is not very realistic though...

Where do you get you're knowledge of gunplay from, cos it sounds like movies. Guns are a lot harder to hit shit with than you think, even at close range.

EDIT - In real life you don't have a crosshair.

Hence the VATS statistics getting significantly higher the closer you are to your target.
