You did that?meganmeave said:[
Or when you visit DC and take pictures of the little dirt path around the Lincoln Memorial instead of the cherry blossoms.
And then you post said pictures online for a side by side comparison of the real DC to the Fallout DC, including pictures of the metro system. Hooo, the comments I got about that. Some of them were justified mind you.
Cool! Have you a link?
Yet another one I haven't seen. Where was that?blindthrall said:I like the motorcycle jump underneath the White House. There's a ramp over a car, and the guy cleared the car, but got caught on the overhead light and torn in two. His torso is hanging from the ceiling, but his legs and motorcycle are on the other side of the jump.
I also like the underwater T-Rex skeleton next to a human skeleton holding a shotgun. Reminds me of an old Ray Bradbury story.
That was awesome! I'm just back from Venice, as you know, and I was able to navigate it perfectly due to Assasin's Creed 2.meganmeave said:Yes, you may bask in the glory of my geekdom now.MiracleOfSound said:10 000 Views on my thread guys... awesome stuff.... thanks!

The fallout ones are the last few. I stopped adding Fallout pics because I have no screen capture doohicky for my T.V. to compare, but I have many more pics of the various Fallout places. BTW, it's about as easy to get around D.C. in real life as it is in Fallout. That city is already a mess.
Hehe! That's awesome! See, video games are educational. Who needs geography or history?MiracleOfSound said:That was awesome! I'm just back from Venice, as you know, and I was able to navigate it perfectly due to Assasin's Creed 2.meganmeave said:Yes, you may bask in the glory of my geekdom now.

I knew my way around better than my GF, who was there before haha
Point Lookout. Go to the USS Ozymandius, then swim north following the buoys. The second or third buoy up, dive down directly below it. Its creepy when you don't know what to expect and you see a skeletal T-Rex rising from the depths! Careful you don't drown, its pretty far down.MiracleOfSound said:Yet another one I haven't seen. Sweet! And very random. Bet not many people know about that one.blindthrall said:Point Lookout. Go to the USS Ozymandius, then swim north following the buoys. I was an archer so.. dupeing arrows was pretty much all i used it for.. Plus i have to admit i love how all the items fly around in the air as they spawn.MiracleOfSound said:Aha... I never did the dupe glitch... that's naughty! hehe
I did the infinite money glitch once and ruined the game and had to start again.
The mini chess.... now I'm not certain but I think that was in the same Satellite tower as the boarded up giant teddy.... and some very angry raiders.
Hope they fix the archery in TESV, it was pretty underpowered in Oblivion. VATS would be seriously awesome...Mozza444 said:I was an archer so.. dupeing arrows was pretty much all i used it for.. Haha, Bow and arrow VATS would look insane.MiracleOfSound said:Hope they fix the archery in TESV, it was pretty underpowered in Oblivion. VATS would be seriously awesome...
Yeah, the social structures in Oblivion were better than F3's. but I guess part of being the Lone Wanderer is that feeling of solitary loneliness.Mozza444 said:Haha, Bow and arrow VATS would look insane.MiracleOfSound said:Hope they fix the archery in TESV, it was pretty underpowered in Oblivion. Yeah it was pretty underpowerd.. still my preferd use of attack however.
Can't wait for a TESV, in my opinion Oblivon > Fallout3.
Why? Mainly due to the fact you can join guilds. It just made me feel more part of the game..
Well i bloody didn't like it! All i wanted is to find The Dark Brotherhood hidden under some rubble..MiracleOfSound said:Yeah, the social structures in Oblivion were better than F3's. but I guess part of being the Lone Wanderer is that feeling of solitary loneliness.Mozza444 said:Haha, Bow and arrow VATS would look insane.MiracleOfSound said:Hope they fix the archery in TESV, it was pretty underpowered in Oblivion. Hehe, well apparently New Vegas is more alive than F3, with a fully powered city and no goddamn rubble.Mozza444 said:Well i bloody didn't like it! All i wanted is to find The Dark Brotherhood hidden under some rubble..
I know, can't wait for that game either.MiracleOfSound said:Hehe, well apparently New Vegas is more alive than F3, with a fully powered city and no goddamn rubble.Mozza444 said:Well i bloody didn't like it! All i wanted is to find The Dark Brotherhood hidden under some rubble..
Should be amazing.
How did you 360 blow up and take your PS3 with you? Was it a literal blow up? Like up in smoke, flames, the whole nine yards?Dr Grimoure said:I cant wait for F:NV, however a new oblivion would be great. The only thing I "Hated" about that game was that all the voice actors were the same it seemed. Also, they killed off picard at the beginning of the game!
Also, my xbox blew up. Took my PS3 with it(((((((((((((((
I dunno what caused it, but now I need two new consoles. Going to get F3 for PC (pc shooters are always better), and play another 400 hours into the game.
