Fallout 3 items you can't do without...

Combat Shotgun: Fairly common weapon and fairly common ammo. If it didn't need to repaired so much, I'd carry nothing but it and a Sniper Rifle.
Leather Armour: Gots to love Mad Max, plus it's common so repairs are simple.
Dogmeat: I like dogs. Litterally have no other reason.
Clover: I don't know why I like her so much, but I do. Plus she looks smexual in leather.
Plasma Grenades: For when you find 4 Enclave troops standing next to each other.
Dart Gun: For Deathclaws. They're waaaay too fast, so this baby helps me slow them down a bit.
Sniper Rifle: For easy Sneak Attack Criticals, then if they're still alive, you can pick them off while they try to close the distance.
Silenced 10MM Pistol: For killing people, when you don't want others to know.

I'm sure it doesn't ACTUALLY deal more immobalising blows than anything else, it just SEEMS like it does. Seriously, I don't care if you have a minigun, so long as I have a corner to hide around and ambush you I'm fine.

Looking at all of these items I've never heard of make me realize that I should have just bought the game rather than borrowing it from Gamefly for a few weeks.

I didn't go anywhere without my Shady Hat, Sheriffs Duster, and Scoped .44 mag. (was it .44? I don't even remember)

Fucking hell it's so annoying to go find one randomly in the wastelands and it says you don't "own" it while you fucking steal everything else in the world. You can even kill the so called "owner" and it still won't let you sleep in it.

-Winterized T51-b Power Armor(mainly because I don't want to sit through that annoying quest to get the regular T51-b)
-Winterized T51-b Power Helmet(see armor reasons)
-Fat Man
-Flamer
-Minigun
-Jingwei's Shock Sword
