And today I just had the biggest one yet, and it's a long story till we get to the mindfuck. Just to clarify that DLC may have something to do with it I have broken steel, operation anchorage, and the Pitt.

One day a long time ago I left Megaton to witness Megaton settlers harassing a brotherhood of steel water delivery caravan. After a brief conversation between the two factions they begin to quarrel, and me, being the neutral karma prick I am, stand and watch as the brotherhood slaughter the three settlers, deputy weld, and Stockholm the sniper.

Some days (real days and about a in game month later) later, I walk out of Megaton to find a ant fighting a raider (now that deputy weld and Stockholm the sniper aren't around anymore I can watch these fights in peace) and when the ant wins I watch the Antaganizer (No shitting here the Antaganizer came out of nowhere, I didn't know she would come to Megaton I thought she would commit suicide from boredom after I killed the Mechanist) kill the Ant, and ready for the cherry on top children? Down the road from Springvale comes none other than the one the only Deputy Weld and sits himself back at the gate just like he never died!

Is my game (for the Xbox 360) going to crash any moment? Has this even happened to anyone else? Any interesting glitch stories to share that made you yell out MINDFUCK?!?!?!

I hear all these crazy stories about what people have seen but it's never happened to me.

The strangest things I have had are instant-moving to somewhere and having all the corpses (from last time I was there) drop to the ground from the sky.

Also in my recent try-out of being evil (it's actually less fun) I killed Simms and left Megaton to get ammo/health to come back and finish them all off. When I got back nobody attacked me, and his son spoke to me as if it wasn't me who blasted his father to pieces.

Was weird but nothing compared to what a lot of people have had.

I'm assuming the game loaded the wrong skin for him.

Oh, and those Brotherhood guys from Falls randomly showing up halfway across the wasteland.

And the standard flailing-limb ragdolls flying by.

I've had a death claw jump 50 feet in the air and land behind me, then attacks me as if nothing happened

i've had naked enclave soldiers fight me and when i search them armor is in there inventory

I've fought a super mutant skinned as a super mutant overlord (or vice-versa)

those are the few i can remember

Edit: enclave soldiers corpse glitches and flys up into the air and spazzes out as a squiggly line

I've had that encounter, complete with the magically resurrected Deputy Weld sometime afterwards.

Well I was surprised when I was at that escaped slave building and I found a protectron fighting a radscorpion on the second floor only the radscorpion was allied with me somehow.

I was also in the Germatown police station and a skeleton was stuck in the wall and started shaking really fast. I went and bumped into it and it killed me instantly.

And then there was a glitch when I had Jericho with me yet he was just standing there yet every time I turned around he was somewhere completely different, even if it was only a second later. He also occasionally dissapeared yet I could still target him in VATS and he ended up all stretched up underground somehow.

I was really frustrated when I became a scientist type character and couldn't find the robot I was supposed to repair in Big Town. I searched for it for about fifteen minutes before realizing it wasn't there due to a glitch. All of the Big Town residents just stood there by the scrap heap asking me to fix the robot that wasn't there.

I managed to talk to Stockholm, and all he says is "How the hell did you get up here?"

Also, I hit a Super Mutant Behemoth in the head with my Gauss Rifle, and he fell over, slid away and didn't stop. A week later, I went into my Megaton house and he was in thier, except non-hostile, and he was wagging around since he was to big for the area.
Oh and one time I finished the Pitt and all my quests were restet. I mean ALL of them. It said "Current Objective: Walk to Dad"

Edit: This was more of a glitch, but one time I did the Power of Atom Quest and fast traveled to Megaton at the same time that I flipped the switch, and Megaton was still fine. Then I finished the quest for Tenpenny, went back to Megaton and finished the same quest twice. Also, I had two houses and buying furniture/ themes included it in both homes.

I killed everyone in megaton, then did the Tenpenny tower quest to nuke the *****. All of a sudden, i cant get into tenpenny tower. I dont have the clearance. So i blow it up, but i cant complete the mission cause the fucker wont let me back in. SO i restart my Xbox right out in front of ten penny, and ask to come in again. The guy says no, i havent done my job of blowing up Megaton. I called bullshit, and fast traveled back. Sure enough, everything was as if i was never there. When i went to rig the bomb again, the option said that it was already rigged. The mission was bugged, and i had to delete that file. 40 hours isnt alot, but it isnt nothing either folks.

I was watchiing some deathclaws fight some raiders when one of the deathclaws shoots up 50'000 feet while im shooting a dart at it...when i shot the dart it went forward but then started following the deathclaw up and it hit it. Thein the other deathclaw launched to and hit the ground with half its heath gone. And after all this happened the entire farm just started makeing mininuke mushroom clouds and everything died. 0_o

That sounds fucking awesome! The only thing that has happened to me that could be called a minor mindfuck is when people that are needed for quests disappear.
