What was he planning to do with them? If he was just selling them even if he knew it was a dangerous subtance, I wouldn't have a problem with it. If he was nefariously planning to get people killed by targeting specific people and tricking them into OD'ing or something then I'd see the problem.

I don't remember too much from F03 so I may be missing something here, forgive me.
Oh maybe I'm not making my point really clear. I just found it to be a little strange that the game doesn't really reward you for blasting drug dealers into tiny bits as one would normally expcet. I just found that consept interesting, that's all.

but I still say the dead children in the school is pretty messed up =O I'm actually going to go with that one for most disturbing
Oh, okay.
My most disturbing would have to be the Mesmetron mission. Just the fact that I could walk up casually, taze, collar and bring in slaves like that.

That and once I was in the Regulator ranch, I walk out, and I see an Albino Scorpion running around a bunch of dead Brahmin.

I found it fun doing stupid things.

Very hard difficulty+trying to kill fawkes took 9 mini nukes 1.5K minigun shots, 9 Nuka cola grenades 30 regular grenades, 5 bottle cap mines and 1000 gatling laser rounds, my reward for killing fawkes(took 10 minutes of pouring ammo into him)50 exp.Not worth it in the long run but oh so funny.

I noticed that I really liked going over corpses with my shotgun and blasting their heads and limbs off systematically.....

I think I should avoid Jack Thompson's attention for a little while....

Don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet but here's my little moment.

During the Point Lookout DLC in the little hotel area, where you'd walk into one of the appartments and find a corpse in a blood soaked bath tub wearing that freaky Pint-Sized Slasher Mask, I was actually expecting a midget clown to pop out of nowhere, turns out it was just me crouching...

The Box annoyed me. I spent like 4 hours trying to find the key and then finally opened it. I was one sad panda.
Wait, did you open it after or before you dealt with those kids?
I killed everyone in Paradise City, opened the Box, and then laughed at the kids in the cage. They can get themselves out for all I care.

Well I got one more, and I'm not sure if it's part of a larger quest.
So during the ridly's rangers quest you have to search a hotel building, and for the life of me I can't remember what it's called, but I think the Last Hope Hospital is next to it. anyway, inside you see a corpse with a little tape player next to it, and when you pick it up it's a final recording of a dad telling his daughter, moonbeam, that some deal to a better life went sour and he had no hope to say his final goodbye in person.

=[ I hope I can find moonbeam and give her the message

CONTINUE ONGOING SECTOR SWEEP. BIOTICS CONFIRMED.

Having combine in a free-roaming game would be freakin' ace.

Im sick of it now, but it took me a year to get bored with it, thanks to mods and DLC's so I say amuzing... can't wai for New Vegas :D

Edit: Sorry missunderstood!

yeah the game is quite, no... very disturbing!
full of sick moral questions I mean:
assist people or eat people?
help villagers or blow them up?
save the fugitives or kill them?
rescue everyone or kill them with a virus?
shoot people or shoot other people.

ah good times.

This all just reminds me that Fallout 3 is one of the best and, oddly, most immersive games I've ever played. Andale was great fun, when I discovered they were cannibals I was genuinely shocked and I see where OP was coming from when he says it's hilarious, it really is. It's very dark humour which entertains me constantly

First time I encountered a Super Mutant was when I was just exploring. I found some old cars and saw a dead body near by. A super mutant jumps out from behind the trailer and attacks me with a big gun. I was so freaked out because I had no idea what it was and without thinking I opened VATS by instinct and shot the thing twice with a shotgun. I was kinda just like "What the fuck was that thing?!"

That it is. It's just brilliant. When I got Oblivion I played it for 6 months solid and thought it couldn't be topped. Fallout 3 beat it 1000x over and even though I just got 6 new games for xmas, I wanna play Fallout 3 right now

Ok now this is all just turning into a mancrush on Bethesda.

And to anyone else who has read through the whole thread the reward of 50 man points for the person who can manage to find a way to make super mutants (excluding behemoths) look arousing

And don't even get me started on the twist of "The Pitt", which I consider the best done moral choice of any game I've played.
Agreed. I'm still agonising over whether leaving Ashur in charge was the best thing to do.
Personally, I would say yes.

Sure, he's using forced labour, but he has to. He's attempting to take the wreckage his Brotherhood of Steel buddies left and turn it into something great. An actual city like Megaton or Rivet City. He's not going to get that done if he just says "Hey, I want to turn this shit hole into a city! It's going to be extremely hard, plus there's a high possibility that you'll turn into a mutated beast! Who's with me?!" He may be using immoral methods, but he has an extremely moral outlook for the city once shit gets done.

Meanwhile, for the other scenario, the slaves get their freedom, but it's extremely likely that The Pitt will stay as it is. We don't exactly know of any plans they have, other than "create cure, distribute it". That's all well and good, but what happens after?

In the end, I think Ashur's long term desire to do something the Brotherhood never even considered somewhat outweighs the short term events.
Yeah, and actually the city is even worse off if you take the slave's choice, because haven is over-run by trogs, the 'cure' is being looked after by non-skilled people and well, Werhner is a complete dick.
