Fallout 3 WTF moments...

I'm sure we've all had them
In my case, i was travelling with the army robot you can get, RL-3, when i was going through the destroyed half of Rivet City to get Pinkerton. Unfortunately, robots that levitate over water aren't very efficent when the water fills up all but 6cm of space. So, rather infuriatingly, he disappeared forever, holding half of all my stuff.
Snap to later, when you get Fawkes as a party member, i get a message saying "RL3 has returned to Canterbury Commons and will wait for you there". Fast travel to Canterbury Commons, and RL3 is lying dead on the ground. No explanation, he's just dead. Kept on seeing radscorpions wedged half-in-half-out of the ground anyway. At least I got my stuff back, though by that time, all it was good for was selling since it was completely overshadowed after recieving all the laser and plasma shots in Raven Rock.

Physics glitches, that is all.
Especially the deathclaw "fighter jets." Which is when they glitch out mid-attack and pretty much take off into the distance or straight up, used to happen alot with me >.>

Just playing through the first time, minding my own business, when WTF?!? Game ending. Came so quickly out of nowhere.

Apparently, Mini-Nukes are made out of the same stuff they use to create Super Balls, since I witnessed a Mini-Nuke bounce off a Super Mutant Behemoth's head, fly straight up into the air, then turn back and decide, "I'm a boomerang, only I FUCKING HATE WHOEVER SHOT ME"...which then promptly killed my cousin. But it was awesome, none the less.

hahaha lol!

OT: First time I killed a Behemoth with Fat Man (inappropriate name) I hit him in the chest, and he died, however, he decided to jump 4-5 times his own height before I could loot him.

My Fallout 3 WTF moment its when I was screwing around not far away from the Jury Street Metro Station.

I was just walking around when later I find this destroyed train and I see this shopping cart with a teddy bear inside. So just for the hell of it, I take the teddy bear and I keep walking.

Then all of the sudden, I get attacked by a Super Mutant Behemoth, then I die in less than a minute because I wasn't prepared for that.


I guess the Behemoth wanted his Teddy back.

I don't remember where I was, but it wasn't from any DLC, just the original game.

Anyways, I blasted a few raiders, and the blood spurt from one of them glitched into a ball of floating blood. I could walk around it and everything, I found it terribly amusing. Took pictures, dunno where they went. :[

This happen to anyone else?

mine had to be when i guess my game was loading the next 50 feet and i fired my magmum at the same time and it turned into a machine gun thing... only one flaw... i was at deatchclaw sanc. and it made them all chase me

end rusult: some crazy guy running thru megaton with 20 deathclaws behind, thats how far i ran

For me, it would be all the weird death glitches that happen in my game.
For example, the Super Mutant Behemoth that I killed by spamming grenades has twitchy little leg stumps that move back and forth forever.

Several Super Mutants that I've killed had what seem to be anti-gravity Hunting Rifles, because they have been floating in the air at head level ever since the mutants died.

That's possibly the best screenshot I've ever seen. Be less jumpy though, that guy might have been able to sell you stuff or something. The term you're thinking of is NSFW, by the way.

Walking across the wasteland, turn around to discover Charon has disappeared. I figure he'll catch up, so keep going. After about 10 minutes, I get a message telling me he's dead.

Now, I should point out that this is AFTER installing Broken Steel, but BEFORE I began any of the BS quests.

Eventually I get around to doing the BS quests. During the final quest, just as I step off a certain vehicle, in the process entering a previously inaccessible area, guess whose body I find on the floor in front of me...

I'll be honest, I found that both very confusing and yet also pretty hilarious

i was in the weapon shop basement of paradise falls with my evil bastard character, when a chair found it funny to attach itself to my leg. i tried brushing it off on the wall and only succeeded in attaching it to my shoulder and stretching it across the room. managed to brush it off onto the gun salesmans face, leaving it their as he now looks like a pyramid head dropout ^^

also the republic of Dave. generally.

Oops, that was actually a typo. But I did try to reload and go back to him, but when I walked down there again he was allready dead. I think the radroaches got him. I won't say too much, but he did have a key, and some kind of gaming reference.

Just happened to me earlier..

Walked out of Dukov's after collecting his key and an Enclave soldier in tesla armour attacked me! He was standing over where the big pile of Rad Roaches usually are.

This is during the Scientific Pursuits quest by the way.

Wandering the wasteland, I came across a seemingly abandoned farmhouse. Suddenly, shots began firing from said house. I swiftly moves up towards the house, using cover as I went. Once I got to the house, I whipped out my hunting rifle and killed my assailant. Searching his body, I received a map marker, which lead me to one of my most beloved characters from the original games who I never thought I would see again.
