12 endings? That's more than any other game I can think of. Usually you just get the one.
I know, some you get none! ... Crysis,.. Halo 2,... grrrr.

Ooh, burn! Can't really count Halo 2 though, seeing as it needed to lead in to Halo 3.

They got Perlman from what i know yeah, for the rest i could care less tbh :p Getting celebrity voice acting will only inflate the budget, I'd rather have 40 different guys of the development team do the voice acting then have 4 celebs do it all.
Hmm, yeah, although I'd prefer -good- voice actors rather than well known. And actually thinking on it, people like Richard Dean Anderson, Michael Dorn, Tony Shalhoub (spelling hehe?) were all really minor television stars back then...and now they're...uhh...

I count an ending as a good amount of closure. I sequel can still have some good amount of closure.

Episode 2.... grrr, as well.

If by Episode 2, you mean Half-Life 2 Episode 2, I hated that ending. I got a good sense of closure with one plot, and another 2 plots got started. That's all well and good, but EEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII! WHY?

They are using the Joss Whedon approach to writing. IE, roll a D20 to see which character dies.
